- this is a highlight film of the judgment day game between the #2 Michigan wolverines and the #1 Ohio State Buckeys in what is the greatest rivalry in college football. This contains the original broadcast as sound, it ain't a cheesy highlight film with some music background , its the actual broadcast. i hope hope fans of both can enjoy it.

Love how all the SEC coaches in 2006 screamed the BCS teams couldn't be same conference and ranked Michigan 30th on their ballots ... Then they were all over it a few years later for that LSU-Alabama debacle. Hypocrites.

I was a senior that year at The Ohio State University. Game of the century. Went from out-r-inn to varsity club for pregame then ended up on the 20yrd line after the game wearing a piece of turf singing Carmen Ohio!!! Something I’ll never forget...

watched this game with 10 of my favorite people on the planet who have never been assembled together again. Even if Blue lost I cannot forget what this rivalry created that day. Was really special.

Michigan, I hope you guys have a great season. I hope Harbaugh makes something happen. It's time to guys start killing it. I love how well Ohio State is doing, but Michigan needs to rise up. So does the rest of the Big Ten.
As an OSU fan I will say best game I have ever watched! hands down. Not even 2013 Alabama vs. Auburn was better because if you watch the guy stepped out of bounds on that last play but still good game. But Michigan deserved a rematch, and they didnt get it when they lost to the number 1 team on the road by 3. Bama in 2011 lost to the number 1 team at home by 3 If michigan couldnt get in then LSU should have played Oaklahoma State in 2011 for the title just saying

....you should get your eyes examined. That play was shown in all formats and all speeds....he never touched the sideline.
Being an O- State fan from the 80"s to now. It's been a pleasure watching them win 8 in a row over Michigan.

i have to say even though we lost that was the best and will always be the best michigan ohio state game i have ever seen. Im not ashamned to admit. the better team won.And ohio state is still a good team to this day.They have given us a run for our money these past couple of years. But i think michigan will make big strides this year. Go blue!!!!!!!!! And may another year of michigan ohio state be as entertaining as this game was.

It is a fact that off the season,OSU & Michigan fan's do get along just fine... Some of us are family & really good friends.. We just scream at each other during the game & then have a few drinks... It's not as bad as it seem's ...
I have to say it takes a lot of class to say what you just said about one of the greatest rivalries in the world good for you man.
I waited 45 years to see #1 vs. #2 in this rivalry battling for the Big Ten title. It brought back memories of the ten year war. WOODY vs. BO ! Both teams made mistakes but they also played their hearts out. Two proud teams going at it like a heavyweight title fight. The 2006 game was by far thee greatest college football game I ever saw. Makes me wish I was there in person.

I was at this game along with every OSU-M game since 1969 and it was like no other, as many times that I've been to Columbus...that day, I've never been in a louder stadium in my life! Urban Meyer was a great hire for OSU...and as far a recruiting goes, both of us are cleaning house..the rest of the Big 10 is not even coming close!
I'll never forget that game, I was an usher in the south stands and the head usher told us he wanted us ( ushers )to go down and hold back the kids from rushing the field, I said , are you out of your mind, there's no way we can hold them back, secretly, I wanted to rush the field myself, so as they poured out onto the field, I was right out there with them, but I have to be honest, the pressure of thousands of people pressing up against one another, was pretty scary.

It was even better than this game as it turned out. And I didn't think that was possible.
This game was the definition of EPIC. This was and will always be the best game I have ever seen in person or on TV. I remember I blacked out 3 times in the 2nd half....and I don't drink.....simply from yelling so loud that I lacked enough oxygen to breath. As a fan I left it all in the stadium. I crawled part of the way back home and died in my bed, but I did get a piece of the field and high street has never been like that........just wow.
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!, while it never gets old seeing the buckeyes beat michigan, I wanted to see the ACTUAL highlights of the game to remember how great of a game it was, and i clicked on 10+ videos until i found one that wasn't just buckeyes highlights....

This was one of the best football games in ncaa history... Eventhough we lost this game, Bo would have been proud of how the Blue played! Greatest game of all time!!! Congrats to OSU, but UM should have played them again in the National Championship and we would have won!!! GO BLUE!!!

Even though Michigan lost, this is still one of my favorite football games. This one and the 2008 bowl game against Florida.
Even as a Buckeye fan, I would give Michigan's defense a bit more credit (back then, at least, 2002-2006). I remember a lot of great Michigan players on defense, Marlon Jackson, Burgess, Woodley, Branch, etc. The 2006 team was still a respectable Michigan defense.
This rivalry is one like no other.. the next few years are gonna be around as action packed as this game was, or maybe even more competitive since Michigan & Ohio State are gonna be improving tremendously with these recruiting classes they've got. The game is always decided on one crucial play!

There is love hidden inside somewhere of each fan, player, or coach (Michigan or Ohio State) for the other team. In my opinion this is the biggest rivalry of them!
So far, this ahs indeed been the best Michigan-Ohio State game of the last 20 years or so. However, there might be a better one down the road. Everybody said after the 24-12 victory in 1969 that no Michigan-Ohio State game would ever be better. Well, the games in 1972-75, 1988, and 1996 were as good if not better then the 69 game. The 06 games was un-frickin-believable, but there might be a better one down the road
If OSU doesn't have its ridiculously long layoff (This game was on November 18th, I believe. Florida played until the 1st weekend of December), then I believe the national championship game would have at least the competitive game it deserved to be.

This was a heck of a game, but all-time, I still think the 1971 Nebraska-Oklahoma Game of the Century was the best ever.

The SEC could never have a game like this. Not talking about 1 vs 2.. but a 1 vs 2 with this with this much on the line.
Sadly, this was the last day the Big Ten was seen on par with anyone in the country. As a Michigan fan it sucked losing but it only got worse after Gary Danielson (who went to high school with my dad in Michigan!!!) made it his goal to screw the Wolverines out of a rematch and then Florida's post national championship game celebration saying the SEC speed just can't be touched by the Big Ten.

Contrary to popular belief, we love Mike Hart here in Columbus. He gave us plenty of entertainment when he ran his mouth and he never beat Ohio State.

Michigan recovered THREE turnovers and STILL lost the game. That's unheard of in a OSU/UM game.

This has to be very close to being the greatest college football game ever played?! The talent on the field that day, Michigan had jus lost there biggest coach Bo, Nat. Championship up for grabs, and not to mention the biggest rivalry in college football. Possibly the biggest in all sports.

Great Video man, it's nice to see both Michigan and OSU touchdowns shown in a highlight video, I get sick of all the videos that just show the OSU highlights from this game, it cheapens what we overcame because Michigan kept coming at us the entire game long.
I may not like O-State and im a Michigan fan but i still gotta respect O-state cause there a big ten team. watchin michigan and ohio state at the top of there game theres no rivalry bigger. and one day soon we will dominate other conferences.

Tressel let his players get complacent, That day Florida was most definitely the better team. In Nov, Ohio State would have torn them apart, OSU was out of shape and believing the hype that they would win just for showing up. The players were out of shape and Tressel wasn't ready for Urban's gameplan. Tressel let his foot off the gas, and the result was 41-14, you will never see a Tressel coached team come into a bowl game like that again. All this coming from a huge Michigan fan.

Check out the so called "Michigan" fan in the Brandon streeter highlight video. he was actually arguing with me AGAINST Michigan. Then there was another so called Michigan fan who thinks we will lose to Michigan State AND Purdue next year.
