Same. Rosie had courage to cover this song, knowing that with her fame her cover would be compared to Kim Taeyeon's. Rosie comes out of the comparison well, but Taeyeon's voice, even with this bop-along beat, carries that tone of sadness that is effortless and so lonely and beautiful. Rosie is a star, but Taeyeon is in a class or her own.

But she is in Korea and singing a song Taeyeon is renowned for singing, the icon of K-pop, the best singer SM ever produced, who has been famous for over a decade before Rosé, but Rosé is not fussed by any of that, as someone says below (or above) she sings from the heart. If Rosé didn't have courage ...to drop out of school in Aus at 16 and go to a foreign land, all alone, and compete with hundreds of wannabes in a knockout comp, and win, if thats not courage i don't know what is. And her courage is a hallmark of her work, and her sweet melodic voice.

If you focus on the lyrics, looks like she wanted to say this to someone she really missed. Taeyeon choose to sing this first in her first ever concert and jessica choose want and resent to sing in her birthday party, if you guys are curious what are the connection of this two songs to them. This song "Time Walking Through Memories" was played when jessica visited taeyeon in chin chin radio and "Want and Resent" they used to sing this together in their early days ❤️ this two songs are the official ost of taengsic

@@darkyzak It's not on Spotify, rather, it's in her CD album. The original singer of this song actually gave her permission to include this song in her album since he considered it as the best cover out of all and was touched by her voice. He also wrote Time Laspe for Taeyeon : )

A recent interview of Kim Jongwan (Nell, the band who owns this song) said that most people give suggestions to collab with the band first, but he said in Taeyeon's case it's different, because Taeyeon sang 'Time Walking Through her memories' in her concerts, and Nell like Taeyeon's songs, so they were grateful and give permission for this song to be in her album and eventually wrote 'Time Lapse' for Taeyeon .
