I'd just love to see some of the tricks I'd seen in the pipe mod videos like footjam whips, the super seat indy and I'd really love to be able to do hang-five whiplashes. Like using the old pipe input to hang-five, then use one of the sticks to whip the frame left or right while in the hang-five.

Seems like the Physics system is simplified on that beta Branch just for Mash to test stuff. Thats why it looks so goofy xD

Don't know if you know this but you can get a tiny bmx, the cheat code to unlock it is left on the Dpad 5 times then up on the Dpad 5 times.

i think theres definitely a balance that needs to be found with the heights you fall from especially, theres some tricks i try from like 4 feet up and die which makes 0 sense. most of the trick stuff looks cool except the ones you were talking about like tailwhips and the no footer

i find myself going “whhhhat” just like in real life, even skate 3 didn’t have me doing that
Keep it the way it is but add a realistic mode so then for the street/park riders that want realism they can apply the settings as needed

Did you know: If you do a tuck up but don’t let go of the triggers and joystick you will still land it. Try it!
There's definitely a happy medium with this version and something similar to PIPE, I agree that the PIPE controls are what should be used or closely resemble
Smooth it out for a gturn whip flat. I've done barspins while riding flat but it would need a balance aspect for realism but it's not unfounded. Maybe a flatland type challenge

Low key a “difficulty” setting to allow less penalty for miss-timing (obviously not as exaggerated as this build) for newer players on the easier setting and more penalty for those looking to get to the realer side of riding might be worth it idk just my thought

Tuck up is still the same as it's always been both triggers and up on right stick

Yo his discord in the experimental channel is confusing me with the A Y X B buttons for 4 tricks mid air and the right bumper to transition to walking? Sounds a bit whack correct me if I’m wrong here but I think the trick system right now is fine I don’t want him to make some weird changes to mid air tricks hahah
that was just a simple way to show how transitioning between tricks are going to be smoother and more responsive

How do you fakie slider? It used to be whichever bumper but i cant figure it out in Streets
Edit** Maybe in a future update Mash can make it so when you flip stance to LFF it changes the turnout direction of the slider. For example, the rider turns the wheel to the left regardless of if that's the dominant spin or not according to stance. In pipe, you were in control via LB for left turnout and RB for right.

i hope mannys get reworked to more how pipe had it. was smoother
manuals in pipe were terrible, and they aren't much better in this. the only thing good about the manuals in pipe was gturns and how consistent they were. I think we will see a physics update for the manuals hopefully soon!!

I see them tailwhips on flat and see them being the groundwork for foot jam whips or them nose manny whips where you step on the pegs (I dont know the name of the trick)
no he has just made it so you can do all tricks on flat ground for the experimental build. hopefully we see footjam whips at some point and the other trick is a whiplash, where you start in a hangfive and whip the bike around

Has anyone mastered the over grinds (over ice over tooth ect.)?
i can do them but im far from a master at them. there is no actual over grind in the game so you kind of have to trick the game in order to do them and is pretty difficult to get them clean consistently. Devon Smilie is pretty good at them tho!!

What is the trick ive seen IRL a bunch where they ride up a pipe or pool, nose manual out and tail whip back into the ramp or pool, can anyone help?

I know its called "BMX Streets" but there really needs to be more flatland stuff in there. Some of my favourite street edits are from Erik Elstran, Charlie Crumlish and Matthias Dandois, all of which bring flatland stuff into a street settings with a mostly seemless fluidity. Whether its Erik's Toothhanger whiplash, Charlies fufanu and abubaca wizardry or Matthias Gold Medal Flatland stuff blended into street like a hop Half whip to hang 5 to multiple other combos, those guys have really been pushing the limits of technical riding on streets. I respect the focus on the "Banger" sheer strength type tricks being in this game, but they need to bring other stuff in, like putting on brakes if you want to, Fufanus on bank to ledges are pretty iconic. I get that it would be a ton of extra work to get alot of flatland stuff into the game, but theres some basics that have become pretty mainstay in real street riding like the dragged out whiplash variations, seems everyones doing those now. Cheers.
I just want to be able to properly hop 3. Spins speeds are too damn slow in the game. Even I can spin faster in real life.

This is crazy because griz airs are awesome but I get wanting to trade a trick you don't like for a different trick. Sounds like a solution in the future could be a setting in the menu where you can swap out tricks once there are more than can easily fit into the control scheme.
