Dave - I hear you on the red/blue/black/green issue. Some of the liveries tickle my interest, some do not. But if white kits offered, "Katie bar the door" . I really enjoy trying my hand at either special livery or something straight outta my mind. I have some decals from various web sites (Aussie, USA and some European) and I like doing "fantasy" paints (case in point Revo's Datsun 510, Jagermeister orange) simple, yet looks great, never existed. (and easy to see on the track for my 71 yr old eyes) Keep up the great work

Seeing as Policar have done a pretty good job of the P4/412P Ferrari, it's a new market for Revo to make the open Can Am version, mine is on pre order hopefully to collect at Gaydon. The list of cars not produced is getting smaller every year, so eventually more repetition will occur. It's not just the basic model/mould that needs to be new, it's the potential liveries, hence the great opportunities for slot it with the LMP2 oreca. With slot it having the 1972 long and short tailed MS670s in development, it would be nice for them to produce the 1970 long and short tailed Alfa 33/3 s. Revoslot have plenty of Can Am cars to go at, shame some of them are very limited on livery options, they could be a Tete a Tete situation with Thunderslot here, folks who purchased Vanquish Can Am cars would probably be happy to upgrade to a Thunderslot or Revoslot version. I came back to slot cars 30 years after leaving for the far more varied static 1/43rd products. I am back because of the variety and broad scope now covered by the manufacturers. Interesting comments on the issue of what is put out and what the few want to see instead. If I may, I have one issue with manufacturers. X Y or Z will be doing this or that car, all up in lights in their annual announcements. And then they never ever ever materialise. However, appreciate the insight.
I’ve just got back into the hobby after around 12 years out and I think that the quality of the cars has got so much better! It’s a very tough decision as to choose which ones to “invest” in. Hope the detail level of the Ferraris is good enough to make me want to buy..?
