I have used 2 harbor freight ones, In general these are horrible. They are good if you never sharpen your chain and you have to remove a lot of material. But you have to take the chain off put it on sharpen less frequently, you still have to file down the depth gauge. When your chain is properly sharpened it takes out large chips of wood and pulls the saw into the work so almost no down force is needed. Using a simple round file frequently is much easier, saves you time while cutting and you don't have to take the chain off. Obviously file down your guides as needed. I tend to use the stihl 2 in 1 sharpener. It really only takes 2 minutes to sharpen your entire chain if its not completely dull.
You INCORRECTLY explained how to adjust depth of cut. It needs to grind the side of tooth, since it cuts with top and side part. Also you could have ground little bit less so your chain could be used for longer. (It looks like you removed 1mm of steel which means you will sharpen it only 4-5 times until it is unusable.) I love your reviews but this is a huge mistake that will leap people to unsatisfactory results and wrong conclusions.
great video, thanks. Just to be more pragmatic here you don't need to tighten the chain so strong before sharpening it, you are just ok with a tiny bit of loose chain just make sure it doesn't move to sides when the grinding disk is pushing against it...
Thank you for the explanation!
Good demo thank you, nice & practical 👍😊

Thanks for taking the time to make this video butI think I'll just buy a new chain.
sorry, that's not very smart thinking
Quando vamos ter essa máquina a venda na loja lidle da benedita gostava de saber o preço e possivelmente comprar comprar
Great demo. the product seems like a waste of time. A file and guide would be quicker and easier
this works quicker, just taking it out and removing the chain is the extra time..BUT after this your chain is definitely better sharpened
