I got to tell you I like this format. I really enjoyed this video. Took me a couple days to watch it but it is worth it. Better than trying to stretch this out over months of footage. Thank you guys for the content and for working hard.
Home shop hack here. As I saw him wrap the pipes I thought I would throw in a tip. I got a bundle of leather from the remnant pile. If you wrap stuff in leather it allows you to secure the part from moving in the vice without marring the part.
That car is looking really good. B is for seems like a decent guy doing his thing.

Jared, I feel like you built a car with the potential to sneak into the 8's.
Since I've already seen the racing on PFI SPEED Channel and know kind of what happened to your engine, I'm hoping when you tear it down you'll show us what went wrong in the bottom end and what the cause may have been. BTW, you made the right call not to run your car again, especially after seeing what happened to the Freedom Civic. I really didn't want to see your engine block with windows and things hanging outside that should stay inside. 👍

Question to all the pros here: When you do weight reduction like this on the doors on a road car, would it be a good idea to put a sheet of kevlar fabric in the doors to prevent something going through your door and stabbing you if you go off road so to speak? Sorry for my broken English, I'm Scandinavian.

I guessed 2700 lbs before the weigh in and my estimate at the line with Jared aboard is 3200 lbs. I'am not familiar with Jared's racing skills and with no practice to speak of I guess 10.3 but the car I think is a 9.5 car. Nice work David. Cheers 🇨🇦

Might want to run a clamp on that blue hose or loom by the trans brace. That will wear if not. Just put clamps and it will prevent that.
