If anyone cannot find the custom shaders pack which is shown at 2:15 Just make sure you're running the right installation of the content manager! It took me 10 seconds to find but I think it'll help some of you a lot!
@@jacksonwhitley7293 When you're in the content manager there should be an update button somewhere, then you will see the shaders button once it has downloaded! If this doesn't work see if you can download the most recent version on the web.
thanks bro. this helped alot! i did the check for updates then at the top right there was a read notification saying update to newest version. then the application should restart and i checked if the shaders were there. I was ready to install. : )

If you have some kind of missing "lua" file error or cars merging together in the sky at the start of a session, downgrade the custom shaders patch to 0.1.73.
Very well explained, particularly the folder hierarchy. Hopefully this will have some impact on the amount of lazy people that just drag and drop then complain that they end up with problems. Quick and concise, yet you didn't miss a thing. I couldn't have done it any better. Now use my FFB settings! :P

Guys if the content manager doesn't install the custom shaders patch for you then click on the button on the right side of the install button it will take you over to their site. Download the stable version. Then drag and drop it into the assetto corsa files like he did with the sol mod
Man I''m reading this tonight after getting the itch to go for a cruise but never really getting the "mod" stuff to ever run smoothly. This video seems awesome but, can't wait to give it a crack.
I tried copying the 4 sol folders and downloading them into the assetto corsa file like you did at 3:50 but when I go back to content manager the sol file does not show up. What could I be doing wrong?
Finished all of the tutorial loaded CM up it said "circuit" on go loaded up and I was just spinning in the air not sure what the issue is with the track or car steering wheel was extremely stiff aswell
i also start flying through the air and cant figure out what to do to make it stop. it happens every time. also when i go back to pit or restart session i get a 280 sec pentaly
Did you get this fixed? I'm having the same issue. I downloaded using a download manager and feel like that may be the reason it isn't working. EDIT: I wasn't paying attention and I accidentally dragged the sol mods into my main steam folder but I spammed ctrl+z until I got it all back lol
I don't know if this was what solved it but I was having the same issue and I extracted the file and dragged the folders from there instead of the WinRAR folder
This isn't very intuitive for people just starting out on PC. I can click a download button but once you started clicking on files and transfering shit, ya lost me. I can't get past the part in the video where you downloaded Sol 😭
I have problems: 1) when I arrive on the map that I have selected there is a bug which puts the color of the sky in black but the reflections of the track and of the car sound as if it was 11 am 2) when I want to go to the shutoku revival project map (on single player) there is a problem while downloading and there is an error message where it says "unexpected error" (i have screenshots) sorry for the bad english i use google translate lol

Go to settings, content manager and check for updates, i got the same problem but doing that fixed it

That’s because you need to extract the file first with 7.zip if you don’t it will take forever vs with 7zip about 30 seconds
