Great! In the twinkling of an eye, I left Italy and found myself cruising through the incredible landscape of Utah. Thanks a lot, it's a kind of magic.
We have done this drive at least 25 times between 2008 and 2018. Loved every minute of it. However we started from San Diego so it took a bit longer than the 4 hours from St George, and we usually ended in Midway, Utah rather than Salt Lake City. Great drive. Thanks for posting it.
Living in St. George being from Utah, and having in-laws who live in Northern Utah, my wife and I have taken that drive many times. I also used to drive over-the-road trucks in 1997-1998, so I have seen many changes.
I went to St. George last spring in my way From Vegas to monument valley, prepared to see another run down desert town like there are so many, but I was extremely surprised how beautiful this area and town is. It seems to very „in order“ around there 😊
Been struggling to play videos of this sort for years. 480p was it, stuttered & froze at 720p. Thought my graphics chip was outdated, somehow had the idea there were no driver updates. Wrong! Checked again... Installed a new driver, now can play the top reso w/o a glitch!
UPDATE: you may want to disregard what I'd written below, as the last time I'd ridden/drove this Interchange, was about 25 years ago. They may have reconfigured it, in the meantime. Who are any of us to argue with the beauties of this route? But, the I-15/I-80 Separation in SLC is really Mickey-Mouse. Poor signage is my main issue. West bound coming down from Parley Summit with Wyoming behind you on the 80, ought to be SO simple, if you want to continue all the way to San Francisco--but NO(!!)--THE 80's laneage is needlessly split up--no markings--no warnings--you take the wrong section of lanes, and you're immediately spilled out onto SLC city streets! That 7-stacker (Or, is it a 13-stacker??) is so huge, that it's very difficult on those city streets to trace for an opportunity to get back on the 80--for that matter, on the 15, also(!!)--and resume. I also suspect that those many slithery ramps of the interchange, may actually not take you ANYWHERE in particular--certainly NEVER to where you want to go. By contrast, In spite of its bazillions of interchanges, when I drive the L.A. Basin, believe it or not, I find it far easier to make any given destination in The Basin. Signage is excellent/plentiful with PLENTY of warning, and those ramps WILL take you exactly where you need to go.!! Might as well aim for Downtown, take the scenic route past Temple Square, then a hard left to veer back West, and maybe, if you're lucky enough, you just might once again, find the Westbound 80.
That section of the interstate is mainly posted at 130 Km/h, intercity is 120. Ref: 80 mph = ~ 130 km/h ; 70 mph = ~ 120 km/h. I drive this motorway and most traffic does closer to 130-140 km/h.
@@jameswest8280There’s sufficient cell service. I actually had an engine seize years ago on this road and had to get a tow about 90 miles. Wasn’t terrible.

Glad you enjoy the scenic drive!

Very beautiful state

I notice a lot more cookie cutter houses built in Utah County than when I was there for school 8 years ago.
We all live surface of the earth planet.
What do you use to record? Do you mount it inside or outside of the car?

In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take and the places we didn’t visit.

❤️ ❤️ I visited Japan early last year and very much enjoyed it there. 🇺🇸❤🇯🇵
Tuyến đường rất dài và không có nhà dân, nếu xe không may bị sự cố thì rất khó khăn ❤
Especially considering there is limited cell service along the way.

bro those roads are awful
Man it must be so awful to not drive on constant potholes and have a smooth riding experience
Why should I watch your video? If you’re going to show me what’s coming up. kind of wrecks it for me.
You mean the first minute that shows less than one half of one percent of the drive? Use the timestamps and skip past it.
