  • The first two lyrics of a 7-verse Piyut written by Rabbi Shalem Shabazi. Each verse is either in Judeo-Arabic or Hebrew. Popular in happy gatherings, especially wedding celebrations.

    I feel the yemen side of judaism has a lot of cool insights to offer and I'm really glad to look forward to more being archived and brought forth to piece together a hidden (at least to me) yet vibrant richness of culture yet to be seen :). So glad to be 1st in commenting here. Ha - everyone else can surpass me on the next ones. I'm here now - for now. This was a great song by great people connecting over greatness.
