I totally agree with you on VR. The Void got it right. If you crossed The Void with Nomadic (was at The Pointe Orlando) for their immersiveness and combined with a successful escape room business model, it could do wonders.
Cool video Kev, would love to see some Christmas store product tours this year if you have time. Love those. Have a great day buddy. Your videos always make for an awesome time😊
If you liked the knitted playground you or any viewer going to Japan should check out the Hakone Open Air Museum. My kids loved it and it is truly amazing!!
talking about vr, I'm still waiting on "the void" to become a reality and actually have locations all over the world. Sounded so awesome when the first videos came out and the website came online. But for years now there has been no real updates and only had a lil teaser here and there. edit: oh shoot didn't expect you to mention them at the end there, didn't realize they went out of business, their website is still up and running.
The truth is, in most haunts, you can't hear them, or at least the racket blends in with everything else. In an isolated setting it seems really jarring, but once in place it's not too bad, especially since you rarely if ever have your compressor right next to the prop and unmuffled.
@@vectorwolf Most haunted houses i have been in, the sound of the pneumatics always overpowered the music and scare effect sounds. But then again, those places i have been to were mostly in Europe, where there are strict laws on how loud the music can be in any establishment.
@@rick5078 it could also be that the people doing it don't know how to situate the compressor and lines, too. You're not supposed to have the thing right on the other side of a plywood wall. Usually the compressors are kept in a baffled area backstage, or even outside with the lines running some distance to the prop. Ours is kept inside a garage with the door closed, and you can't hear anything more than some hissing and a thump as it hits the motion stops.
Lol “Me when I hear the word Jollywood” clown bashing his head against the glass. I agree, those very expensive vr machines like they put in the malls and arcades are a complete waste. The vr is nowhere near as good as what you get on a psvr2 or meta quest 3.
You firing off the fog gun was epic , I need to get to this one day. Looks amazing. “Me when I hear the words Jollywood” 😂
Massage Guy has to be your costume for Halloween 2024!! 💙😂

As a haunter, i saw that fog rifle and fell in love. Holy crap would that be amazing... i dread to think how much it costs though.

I hate we lost the void at Disney. It was the most amazing vr experience I’ve ever been in.
@@johnshoemakerpbc Did you get to try Nomadic at The Pointe Orlando based on the video game Arizona Sunshine? That was awesome!!

12:43 this man… IS A GENIUS!
I hope Disney Dan ate that giant pretzel.
Will you be doing an Orlando informer video?

Yeah, the vr reminded me of the old NES commercials. Next year people will wonder if it was from 2000. Meta isn’t much better
Nice! Playing TS4 from Jersey Jack Pinball! I'm sure you also saw the new Elton John.
Those animatronics are pretty cool. Too bad the haunted house ones always have such loud mechanics, it completely distracts from the scare effect.

Fun fact: This is open to the general public, the website says its $80.00 for a ticket.
Always thought it was like $500, That's good to know for next year:)
For the membership its around that much, but for nonmembers it said it was like $80 :) @@KevinHeimbach
