Hey guys, there actually is a tie between the Padres and Cubs....They played each other in 1984 NLCS( National League Championship Series)... The Padres won the pennant ....went on to the world series and lost to the Detroit Tigers.
I think Wrexham has become the perfect "Second Team" for anyone that already has a primary club. They're simply fun and easy to root for between the community, the owners, and the documentary.
I love this series. I went to see Wrexham play a friendly with Chelsea in North Carolina last summer. It’s wasn’t an amazing game, but it’s the only opportunity we have to see English teams live in the US. It’s was cool to see all of the players live.
I wasn’t happy just watching the series and started following in real time and now unfortunately obsessed lol so much has happened since the takeover it’s unbelievable. Can’t wait for all the reactions!
Late to the party but this series piqued my interest in the Football League. Spend too much time following the Prem and CL as it is so I’m not watching full matches or anything but it did get me watching highlight packages and keeping an eye on the tables. Anything that brings positive attention down the pyramid has got to be good for football.
Agreed. I had never followed what was happening in the bottom two but, since I’ve started following Wrexham, I’ve found the competition is a lot more fierce. Very enjoyable

@@liambrown1461 dude there aren't 15-20 minutes of highlights in any game... Sports center covers every good game in all the sports you mentioned in less than 40 minutes of actually air time. And they have the right to show as much video as they want...

Taron Egerton grew up in Wales and live in that small town with the longest name. He often gets asked to pronounce the name when he gets interviewed.
