I was told by a VW dealer that 2022 model would only come in January. I am glad that it's not the case. Guess they just want to sell me the '21 model. Thanks for the video, now I know I don't have to wait too much.

Thank you Reese, Can you please help me answer these questions? I am seriously looking for purchasing a 2022 SE model.
1. Do you have wireless apple car-play? I also didn't see the wireless charger
2. Does it have parking hold button that all the new models these days manufacturers are giving?
3. Do you lose lot of rear leg room if you chose FWD over 4Motion?
Yes, it has wireless charging, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, not it does not have the hold button, and no the middles seat has the same legroom whether or not you get the two row (AWD) or three row setup (FWD).
just bought a 2022 r line tiguan , coming from a dsg trans to this automatic is terrible . thats my only complaint with it
Well of course it will seem that way after driving a DSG. The DSG transmission is one of the best transmissions on the planet!
So power liftgate is standard on the 2022 SE? Goes up and down with the push of a button?
Yes it is standard on the 2022 Tiguan SE. However, there is a little quirk in regards to the liftgatebseitch on the driver's side door. If it is AWD, you can open AND CLOSE the hatch from the driver's seat, but if it is FWD, you can only open it from the driver's seat. You have hit the button on the rear hatch to close the FWD hatch.
@@vwguru awesome, I reserved an SE and my salesman wasn’t sure if it had the liftgate feature. I see on the VW site that it says it has one so figured I’d ask.

for some reason the 2021 looks a little more classy. the 2022 nose feels more like a car's front end rather than rugged SUV. I'd be leaning more towards a 2021 and would go very basic with an S model.

What is the standard engine and power train warranty for 2022. How are you able to give 10yr/200k miles engine/powertrain warranty for free?
4yrs 50k miles same as the bumper to bumper warranty
It is a third party warranty that is honored nationwide. It is free on every new Volkswagen that we sell.

They do. The Aurora Red and King's Red are pretty similar.
hate the even worse fake looking tailpipes on the 2022. I think 2021 still beats the 2022.

Who drives with Halogen headlamps this days?? I would gladly trade the sunroof for a full LED Headlamp. Stay away from that blue ugly car.

My sister has a 2019 in white she purchased after some dingbat lady crashed into her 2007 Passat. I like black but since no garage I'd prefer a silver or a grey/charcoal but with a simple S model. Not sure about the 22 model, think l like the 2021 better still.
