Yes, we're newbies. We only have 3 weeks of sporadic camping under our belts. No plan on full timing but do plan on increasing frequency and time spent camping.

To help beat the heat look into the rvairsystem. It's a baffle system you put up in each AC unit that turns the choppy turbulent air movement into a streamlined flow of air that almost doubles the cfm of each unit. Makes it efficient and keeps your rig much cooler.

What is the padded cushion you put inserted in your skylight? Does that help keep the trailer cooler when running the a/c?

@@lifererouted One of the reviews states it won't fit vents with built in fans. We have a fan in that kitchen vent.
Oh! Ours fit, we have a built in fan in the bathroom one and the kitchen one! They're the fans that came with the camper, not upgrades

2021 imagine 3110bh. Grand Design only made it for one year. I don't know why, because it is a great floor plan for traveling with teenagers. Regular bunk beds aren't long enough for taller children.

Hey guys congrats on moving 👍 so does the single air unit not keep the rv cool enough during the day in the heat ???
Thank you! Honestly not in that kind of heat 🥵 It was in the 100s pretty much everyday with ZERO shade. The AC keeps it cool enough, but we don't like to push it too hard or overdo it 🤷♀️

Barely! And not at all with the camper. Any recommendations for us??
You could stay at chain of lakes state park, pokagon is another cool one. I would love to visit potato creek state park someday, but it’s a popular one.
