I purchased the entire lot, and only now am realizing how massive this behemoth truly is. The BotM series is indubitably the premiere source for the best figures ever made. Excited is an understatement for David Silva’s other figures in tyrannosaur line. Especially the feathered cousins.
Agreed. The 1/35 is so convenient as far as the size and Definitely a lot easier to maneuver around. The 1/18 version is just so massively impressive though. You know exactly what I'm talking about though as you're on your second 1/18 scale Rex now, haha! You're getting quite the Collection of them!

It definitely looks better than I thought it would, too. The paintwork is incredible! Don't have the space for this guy but I'm sure I'll pick up the 1/35 scale once I'm done with my PNSO buying spree. Hope it looks as nice as the big one!

What an absolute beast this rex is ! Very impressive. Wanted to ask, is it possible to reposition the neck hood part once you pose the head so it doesn's stick out as much? I am seriously considering to buy it, but the hood looks weird to me and when a figure costs as much as this, it can be enough of a turn off.
I just got into this line of dinosaurs.. I love it. Is it worth buying a used 1/18 T rex with no box for 300$ on eBay.. or those any one know if their is going to be a re-release?
@@FierroDuroRails I think there is going to be reissued T rex with updated neck articulation. I heard that somewhere. Not positive if it's for sure though.
It’s about time the Tyrannosaur series showed up. Well… one of them at the moment. Just Incase, is it available to “Add To Cart” somewhere? I have been waiting for almost a year for one of those Tyrannosaurs from Beasts of the Mesozoic. I can’t wait to do a little stop motion like event out of one of my favorite Tyrannosaurs. Especially do a recreation of the alternative sequence from the 2000 Disney Film DINOSAUR. Well Disney originally planned the T.Rex AKA Tyrannosaurus Rex for the Film. Before they decided the Carnotaurs instead.

I wish this figure was lighter, I love love loove waking up to it near my bed and I admire it every day. But man, that pelvis is like a rock. I worry about how the hips and knees will hold up.
Why smh towards Mattel? the mainline, yeah I can kinda see but those are for kids, but it's towards the Hammond Collection, well keep in mind, those are designed after the MOVIE dinosaurs, they are what people perceived dinosaurs where like during that time. but they are mostly for the movie fan collectors. I honestly don't understand the hate. These figures look nice and I'll agree they are cool and accurate, (until scientists reveal dinosaurs shoot lazers or something). But the hammond Collection dinos are more affordable and just as articulated, and don't need a stand in order not to fall over. And the necks on them don't look horrible like this one does.

Ngl this is literally the Hammond collection T. rex but just with a way better sculpt and more feet options
This is completely different from Hammond Collection T-rex, it’s scientific accurate, better proportion, better sculpt and paintwork

I feel like beast studio should add articulated feet so it doesn’t need extra feet.
If it too posable, it could have affect the stability of the figure which is why David made extra feet for it
