- Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed this video. This one was a real tough one, and I assure you that from here over to the next batch of videos I'll be making, it's not gonna get any easier, but I'm willing to do it since I both enjoy doing these things, and I want to give you guys what I have, and this is the outcome. Once again, I have to thank @dogasaurus_rex for teaching me the basics of stop motion and the locomotion for both bipeds and quadrupeds. Make sure to subscribe to him, he does some incredible work with stop motion.

This is a true work of art. I was expecting a very simple stop motion, nothing super fast like with the Velociraptor chasing the lizard. I probably couldn't even recreate the first Protoceratops scene. Very well done, and also you have a new subscriber!
Thank you so much for taking the time to both watch the video and comment. I really appreciate it.
@@pugerrino2637 No problem
I can only agree with this. This stopmotion video is a masterpiece
It's too cool it looks the real one
I can't do that 😞
The stop motion , the music, the figures, the landscape are amazing. You really out did your self with this
Thanks, yeah, this took a whie to put together, but here we are, and the deed was done.
They look like BotM figures (Beasts of the Mesozoic) which was a great choice to use as the dinosaurs!
@@m1sty033 Indeed they are, I personally think that BoTM figures do deserve a whole lot more attention than what they have right now. Since these figures are made and based of the scientific accuracy of dinosaurs as we know them today.
The Velociraptor movement is super fluid. Loved this.
Thank you. The raptor section was by far the hardest part.
I like the throat singing in the soundtrack, it's a nice reference to the location Velociraptor and Protoceratops were found in
Yep, it's what I've found most fitting for a video like this one.
That was actually epic
Thanks bro.
Holy shit, that was fucking rad! The cinematography was off the hook! The music was perfect! Well done!
Thank you bro, to me, what carries the video is the music, after I choose the songs I want to add in, it's up to me to decide how I would sync it to the cinematorgraphy, and as of yet, it works out really well.
This was absolutely breathtaking! The smoothness and speed of the animation really are something to behold!
Thanks bro, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
@@pugerrino2637what are the figures?
@@King_mousyBeasts of the mesozoic figs. They're cool.
where did you get the music man this is amazing keep up the good work!
Thank you so much. I got all the songs from here on YT, if you wanna know which ones specifially, they are in the credits. If some sections in the end credits seem repeated, that was my bad lol.
I'm quite late to see this but- great job, this is really, REALLY cool!⭐ I honestly really love the little flashes of the fossils and stuff, like- how could someone even come up with that!? Seriously amazing work!👍👍👍 (Keep up the great work!)
The Mongolian throat singing is a very nice touch
Thanks bro, it truly was the option that best fit the vid.
@@pugerrino2637 it really was
This is an excellent stop motion and the music you used was perfect for this video especially Chinggis Khaan.
Thank you bro. Yep. I thought Mongolian music would fit the video best since it took place in the Gobi desert.
I really love the music when the velociraptor is chasing the lizard at 1:33
I saw a community post from EDGE about this video, so I was expecting it to be good and I'm still surprised by how good it is.

I love this. This is the first of your videos I have watched and I am already a subscriber
Thank you so much man. I'm glad you enjoyed the video that much.
Omg I’m making a whole movie on these raptors. The stop motion is so good, and probably one of the best ones I’ve seen yet. I notice how you used some strands to prop up the dinosaurs. How do you do that? Because in my movie, I also plan on not using the base that the raptors come with as well.
The strands are nylon strings. They are wrapped around the figure and attached to a wooden plank up top and that allows me to easily manipulate the figures better than with traditional stands.
That was amazing!! Amazing job bro! I subbed. And liked! 👍👍
Thank you so much man.
The lizard was just amazing lol.
I gave that lizard plot armor 😈
This may be too much to ask but can you continue with prior extinction? It’s fine if it’s not possible at this time but I really liked it when you where doing PE related videos plus, prior gut some updates which is pretty cool!
@@hbs5889 Trust me, I would love to get back to doing the PE videos, and if I could, I would'nt hesitate to do it. But for reasons of which I can't share, I can't sadly.

THIS A MASTERPIECE KEEP DOING THIS MAGIC PLZ
Sir Yessir
Oh my, this video is amazing! You've definitely got a sub from me, i'm excited for what will come in the future. Also if you don't mind me asking, what will you be doing for your next stop motion project?
Thanks bro. The next stop motion video I'll be doing is nicknamed JPRVS, but it stands for Jp Tyrannosaurus Vs Sinoceratops (scientifically accurate sino).
Thanks for this! I wanna do something similar that is both entertaining and educational. Your video had very smooth motion and showed what could have lead to one very famous fossil we have. At the beginning, I thought it could use some text or narration to explain a few things, especially background, though I do see value in having no language and making it more globally inclusive, 😁.
Well done! 💪
Thanks a lot my guy, yeah, I feel like having no narration and letting the events speak for themselves doesn't just make it globally inclusive, but I like to think if it like a scene where there is no voice simply because we didn't even exist at the time. I adds suspense and makes it a bit more errie.
@@pugerrino2637, are you gonna do the "dueling dinosaurs" one? I've thought about that (though I'm miles away from it) and have thought of a young T rex sort of stumbling upon a grown, angry trike, much like a buffalo finding a young lion and having its way with it before it grows to be a danger. I must admit a degree of ignorance, though, as I'm no expert on the matter. What are your thoughts?
@@somedude7040 something similar is planned for the future, although as of yet what I'm working on right now is not too far from your idea, I'm working on JP Tyrannosaurus vs BoTM Sinoceratops.
Oh my god this video is beautiful great work
Thank you so much man.
This is fricking incredible and I love it so much
Hope to see more
Thank you so much man, and I'll make sure to make more. Next up is JP Tyrannosaurus vs BoTM Sinoceratops.
One tip: Try to check if your landscape is always on focus. Rest of it is amazing! I love how you used an actual mongolian song! Also can you gimme the links for the remixes of it that you used? (Because in one of my series there will be a dinosaur character named Genghis Khan)
Thank you man, and thanks for the tip, here are the two mongolian mixes I used:

Thanks man, glad you liked it.
This is truly a masterpiece, I attempted at making a dinosaur animation inspired by this, but how did you get the figures standing so well?
why do ppl unsub to you channel you deserve 1 m subs you vids best
I don't know, but it's probably because they didn't find what they're looking for in my channel, which is fine, if they like my content and they wanna sub, then they are more than welcome to do so, if they don't like what they see, I can't change their opinion, so it's up to them to watch or not watch my videos.
Wow! Fantastic work on all aspects of stop-motion animation! Maybe, post-processing you could 'erase' the nylon strings from being apparent. Really neat animation which captures the attention and curiosity of the viewer.
Thanks man, I'm glad you liked the animation. Honesty, I get what you mean about "erasing" the nylon strings before posting, but it's pretty hard for me to accomplish, in my case. But yeah, I understand what you mean, thanks for the advice bro.
@@pugerrino2637 I understand it would require a few more hours of work in a software like Adobe Photoshop or similar but the outcome would be even better than before. I also liked the scientific palaeontological touch and photo reference of the bites and strikes of each dinosaur! Pretty awesome work!

Really great animation and I was not expecting Star Wars music. 😂
Thanks bro. Yeah tbh, Mando ost slaps hard, it really has the type of music that fits with multiple sceneries.
@@pugerrino2637 Definitely. I thought Mongolian throat singing was fitting with where Velociraptor was found and the Mandalorian OST really fits the narrative you made!
@Nicklose Yeah, thanks man.
I really liked this, I do have criticisms though.
The first shot with the raptor running lacked power imo, I feel it should’ve pushed off the ground a bit harder and it should’ve lurched forward a little more, also the cuts between shots were a bit weird.
But those are mere nitpicks, all in all 8.5/10 It was really well done and I loved it, I will be viewing your channel more often
Hey man thank you so much for the feedback, these are really helpful.
I really agree with everything you put out and all the flaws you saw fit to mention. I will take all of these things in consideration and will strive to become a better stop motion animator after each experience. I'm glad you enjoyed.

Cool video btw
I love the choice of Doshpuluur singing as the background music, since it is not only unique and rare to hear, but also has the same country of origin as the depicted dinosaurs (mongolia).
Thanks. I thought it would be fitting to have the music match the location and origins of what's being shown in the video. In my opinion it enhances a lot more its uniqueness and not just leaving it as some generic dinosaur content.
What models do you use for the dinosaurs? The movement is so nice and realistic, this is crazy
The figures are from a website called Creative Beasts Studio, the specific figure line they're classified in is Beasts of The Mesozoic.

is it just me or does this guy need more subs
Maybe...
Just curious how long did this take to make?
Well, I'm not sure how to put it since I had a few variables that made the process longer. I started making the sound design and plot for the video while I was on vacation in Canada, I stayed there for a month and after I returned, I began to do the actual stop motion, I got to work and complete 1-2 scenes every day since I had to work in the morning and stopped at 4:00pm, which gave me a few hours to work on the stop motion in the afternoon to the evening. It took me about 3 week in total to do the stop motion after I came back from Canada. But if it weren't for those things, I would've finished sooner.
