- Impressive Runway efficiency Spectacular wet reverse thrust from Norwegian Air Boeing 787 and Emirates Airlines Airbus A380 after heavy rain at London Gatwick.
For years Gatwick was the busiest single runway airport in the world and with 45.6m passengers last year it handled more travellers per runway than even Heathrow. Since 2015, the busiest one-runway airport has been Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International, with 47.2m.

Wow, that A380 looked like he was basically just parachuting softly down towards the runway, not racing towards it at a hundred miles per hour.

Not as busy as Atlanta or Chicago O’Hare but for an airport with only 1 runway that is really busy. London Gatwick is an alternative to London Heathrow and Westjet has flights there from Calgary Alberta
