I’ve looked at these for years! Thank you for the tour it may be time for me to switch. I really love this van it’s perfect for me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for commenting and I hope you’re okay and staying safe 😊 Karina
A funky little van, comprehensive review as always, thanks for showing us around.
Thanks Ann 😊
We have owned our Adria Action for 3 years it’s brilliant! Ours is a 361LT Australian the differences for our climate are no heater & no oven. Replaced by an external BBQ bayonet & a reverse cycle A/C under the nearside bunk. This gives heaps of storage. The ATM (MTPLM?) is 1400kg that’s 440kg of payload we never use it all I prefer to put the weight in the tow vehicle. We also have different weight limits on our driving licenses. Our table is full size hooked onto the front wall. We use the seats as single beds so it's never removed. We just remove the back cushions and use a swag (dougalay) at night. During house renovations, we used the washroom as our only shower for a month. No worries easily up to the job & I’m 6’4”. There are 2 alterations I would make to the design 1st I’d scrap the washroom window & replace it with a clear roof vent with an integral 12v fan 2nd I’d put a small box on the drawbar. It runs a bit light on the hitch. This would give a place for all the wet mains & greywater hoses. The external hatch puts them under the bunk. Not a good idea. I’ve also added 2 Sirocco 12v fans to move the air around. We try to use sites with power, mains water & grey water drain, so the small water tank & leisure battery are fine for the occasional night off-grid. We bought it because we could tow it without having to change our tow vehicle. It had all the features we needed & the bed was big enough. The number of caravans regardless of the price that have nasty little beds that my feet stick over the end is amazing. I prefer this van to a lot that are 3xs the price.
Thank you for your comment about your model and what you have done to yours 😊 Karina
Such a nice and professional presentation of this really wonderful caravan❣️
Thank you Johanna 😊
Great no nonsense review , thanks . Perfect for a single person like me.
Thank you
Great review. We are owners of a 360 Adria Action. As complete beginner caravan owners we chose it because it was so compact. Absolutely no complaints. The windows are wonderful as they make the van feel so spacious.
Thanks Jenny, Im glad you like your Action. We love our Adria Isonzo. Enjoy your touring once we get back out 😊
Jenny P We’ve been looking at the Action but I wonder about the storage . Do you find there is enough?
We have an Action and there is loads of storage space. We love ours.
Love it! So cute! And I like those heaters as you can power them on gas only and not need to use battery power - very handy when off grid. Fab review as ever 👍
Thanks Andrew 😊
What a cracking little van! I do love the likes of these and the Swift Basecamp, we get spoilt by the big vans and of the luxuries really. Great look round guys
I love the look of the Swift but I also love the look of this one.
Amazing use of space, looks really good, thanks for the tour🙂Mark
Thanks Mark 👍
@@HereWeTow
So which would you recommend the swift base camp 2 or 4 over the adria action ?
Very torn I have to say .
You guys have a lot more experience, so your feedback would be very much welcomed .
Many thanks
It is a hard choice once you start thinking which is best for you. If it was my money is would be the Action first, then Basecamp 2 and then 4. If you have children then you would need the Basecamp 4 as it has four berths. If you are a couple then the Basecamp 2 andAction will give you a longer sofa in the lounge and wider bed. They both have a good size kitchen too which is quite important. All models can be enhanced with an awning if you feel you need more outdoor space. If you are able to up-plate to a higher MTPLM within your licence then its worth doing to increase your payload. If you need any advice email me at herewetow@yahoo.com. 😊 Karina
After your presentation of the Isonzo I went out and bought one, never regretted it, still have it, still brushes up as new. At the end of the day it comes down to build quality, Adria’s have it in spades.
Im glad you enjoy your Isonzo like we did ours. It would still be my first choice if I was buying a caravan. Safe travels, Karina 😊
I quite like this little van and would prefer this to the Basecamp. The layout of the kitchen and washroom reminded me of our very first Motorhome. Really enjoyed the Vlog Karina and Thanks for sharing. 👍🐶🐾😄❤️
Thank you and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 😊
What a cracking little caravan x
Thanks for watching Gill 😊
Hi Karina.. we watched your very comprehensive presentation of this Caravan.. we love it and in fact we are purchasing it for us both with my wife here down under Sydney … thanks you for your wonderful explanation, cheers
Oh that’s exciting news, congratulations! It is a fantastic compact caravan and I personally love it. Enjoy your Action and thank you for taking the time to tell me about it 😊 Karina
@@HereWeTow , Hi Karina, as we can’t travel abroad there has been such a demand of caravans here in Australia, Sydney, that we cannot get our caravan until next year sometime in April , May, so we are anxious waiting for ours to arrive even though we still have quite a few months to wait …. So for now .. patience!
😊Yes, we ordered our new Adria Motorhome in October 2020 and we are due to collect it July 2021, some things are work waiting for though. Have a lovely weekend, Karina
@@HereWeTow give us a look when you get it Karina.. not long to get it!.. cheers
Ten karavan je naozaj super.
I really like small caravans like this or the Swift Basecamp and would love to know more about this typology of caravans that are compact and good to go even on not so great and dirt roads. I remeber a friend of mine years ago, log before it was popular, went to Iceland towing a huge caravan. It came home pretty battered. Thank you for all the information you kindly share.
Thank you, yes the smaller caravans like this are growing in popularity. They are fairly robust and you could always fit shock absorbers to reduce the vibration and rough ride. Take care, Karina
Great review, cracking little caravan. Not looked at the specs but looks a similar size to a base camp but you get a hell of a lot more in the Adria. Also, looks like you may need a step inside as well as outside 😁. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
I bought it today, one of the last @£18k price going fws £20k plus... The fridge positioning is what sold if for me... Plus its NOT British built.. Win, win..
Congratulations 🎉 Enjoy your new Action!! Karina
I love these wee caravans but I'm waiting for the Action four berth caravan to be released in May 2022. It will have a fixed bed and a small dining table area. Perfect for solo travellers or couples.
I love this one... We've had been looking this one and the Swift Basecamp here down under , but I think we'll stick with the Action 361 LT we find it really cozy
I like the little Action too and the build quality is very good 👍 Karina
Detailed review and look around. I’m not a huge fan of the smaller vans but I would certainly choose the Adria over a Swift Basecamp. The build quality between the two is not comparable. Same has to be said for the Bailey Discovery, poor build. I would also look at an Eriba for small and quirky. Good review, thanks.
Thanks Sam👍
I agree, sitting in a brand new discovery recently and the quality was dire. over £20k, entry level or not.
I have been wanting to have a look at one of these, but cannot find one in south wales. My question is about the front window, it does not seem very big (I know it has the big one as well) but when sitting down have you a good view through the window? (If that makes sense) lol Also interested in the basecamp 4
Thanks John, the view through the front window when sat down is limited, there is a good view through both the side windows. Hopefully you can find one to view. The Basecamp has more of a basic feel inside which you will be able to see if you can compare them both. Andrew Ditton has done a good Basecamp 4 vlog if you haven’t already seen it. Thanks for watching.
Another great review HWT. Agree about fridge/freezer and i'm not sure how many kettle cables would reach that ceiling plug, looks a bit of a stretch, but that aside great little caravan.
Thanks Dan, I wondered about the kettle cord too 🤔😊
Our kettle cord reached, just. Worked fine.
Has anyone ever tried one of those small 1kw oil filled rads while away?? Would it be too much and overload the site mains supply? Thanks.
I have heard of people using them yes, in a modern caravan the heating system is excellent so you shouldn’t need one. I know some people use them in awnings but that’s a hotly debated topic. Thanks for watching 😊 Karina
Adria ⭐👍
wow. what a great review and a great caravan! personally i prefer this to the swift basecamp.
out of the vids i have watched my top 3 mini caravans are
1. Adria Action
2. Swift basecamp 2
3. Swift basecamp 4
Thank you for watching and my favourite is the Action too. The Eriba caravans are worth a look too, I am hoping to get some reviews of these done later this year. Have a great week, Karina 😊
Agree about the cables and the plug in the kitchen area..madness... think the swift basecamp is a much better van as they are both set at the same price point..but great video as usual
Thanks for watching John 😊
Hi guys nice little van ideal for a couple wanting to start up caravaning but don't want to tow a big caravan behind then something compact and easy to tow quite nice stay safe friend kev
Thanks for watching Kev 😊👍
The large bed is great for the adventurous 😉
Great review. I'm interested in purchasing a small van and currently doing my research. For me though I think the Swift Basecamp is a better option because it has an external shower point and a decent awning we can see fitted. Thanks again.
Thanks John, I hope you find the right one for you. 😊
@@HereWeTow thank you for replying!
I agree, this may possibly be better quality (?) but the design and layout is clunky compared to the Basecamp which is funky and more practical. I like the idea you can use the Basecamp with seats folded back to transport masses of gear to site, like a trailer.
@@themagicrat8803 Thank you for replying. Yes, I agree with your comments about the Basecamp. As a solo traveller I like the Basecamp plus 4. Andrew Ditton was one reviewer who pointed out the convenience of having a separate eating/work area and I feel this caravan is for me. I hope you are well. Kind regards.
Great review. Love the inside - shame about odd positioning of the fridge. I’m looking at the Base Camp 2, I just wish the interior was a little more modern like this Adria
Thank you Andrew, both caravans offer different things but the Adria is a more comfy and luxurious caravan, in my opinion. The Basecamp is more stripped away and simple. I am sure you will enjoy whatever you choose 😊 Karina
my wife is 5'4". I asked her if the fridge was a pain. Her answer was "I can reach & it's much better than bending down". We own an Adria Action.
We have a higher height fridge in our new motorhome and I just find getting in the freezer difficult. I agree it is better than under counter for me though 😊 Karina
Is there storage beneath the sofa? Thanks, great review.
Yes there is some storage under there as far as I recall
Nice looking camper, but I feel like it seems to lack a lot on storage compared to smaller campers, but if you're someone who packs light then it'd be a very good choice.
Cool van, should have a fold down bed where the skylight is so you don't have to make up/pack up your bed every day.
could prob diy one
Are you or have you reviewed the Knaus Sport and Fun as would love to see one.
Thanks Carol, yes we have, this is from Dusseldorf last year... KNAUS Sport and Fun - Black Selection (Caravan Salon Düsseldorf) If the link doesnt work you can scroll back through our videos. It is a really nice caravan and I like the layout. 😊 Karina
Thanks. Great video by the way, very in-depth and easy to listen too. Good luck with your new adventures with the MH.
Thank you 😊
A high fridge and gas bottle position would be a concern for the high centre of gravity and goodness knows where they have put the leisure battery. Not one for me I'm afraid
I really like the feel of this when i sat in it. Reading the comments on here i can certainly understand now the drawbacks.
I don't think at a touch under £25k new it is cheap, but the build quality looks good.
For me it lacks a big enough front table where id put my laptop. should have to use the table and faff about like that.
Thank you for watching.. I think if I was considering a compact caravan Knaus would be on my list. Well built and some innovative ideas and layouts. Enjoy your week 😊
We have an Action, it's a great small van with a good spec. Good review but no mention of the Blue tooth, or that the sofas can be used as single beds once back cushions are off.
You've answered my question about single beds. Thank you 👍
Donna Anderson
Have you got an awning for your van ?
@@jaylepp yes we have a Reimo airbeam awning and also (for short trips) a Prima 150 air awning, it's a small porch awning and ideal for wet dogs and boots.
@@donnaanderson1730
Thank you for the reply what size is the reimo please
@@jaylepp this is the one we have. It fits the UK version but the wheel cover/skirt and ground sheet are massive and don't fit well but that's not really an issue for us.
www.reimo.com/en/camping-shop/awnings-for-caravans-motorhomes-campervans/caravan-awnings-caravan-porch-awnings/2700/p-inflatable-awning-for-adria-action-361/p
I like it but can you add an Air Conditioner ? Is it available in the US?
Hi Mike, you could fit air conditioning. I don’t believe Adria are available in the US unless it was imported. Thanks for watching 👍
The one we bought here down under it has reverse cycle air conditioning… we are really happy with all the features and comfort level of this Adria
I was ready to ridicule this, because a lot of the tiny vans are nothing more than a bed and to me that is wasteful. But this it brilliant. I would say better than some of the larger vans.
It's a shame you couldn't take it out on the road to tell us how stable it feels. Maybe Adria will let you try it.
Thanks Rob, we did get to tow the Action when we reviewed the Subaru. It towed well due to its longer A-frame. Thanks for the nice comment 😊 Karina
Is it possible to have hot water point outside?
I don’t know if that is available as an option on the 2022 models, you would have to speak to a dealer to see if this was possible. Thank you for watching 😊 Karina
how much is the Ground clearence ?
The ground clearance of an Action is about 12 inches, the Subaru I don’t know you would have to check on their website. Karina
The hob is “good for cooking on” that’s good then. Only joking, I love these little vans...
You haven’t seen me cooking 😉 Thanks for watching, Karina
It was the way you kept a straight face once you had said it, Classic!. A good friend of mine has recently bought a “Go sport fun” or whatever it’s called, by knaus and he and his wife are loving it but I think I prefer the Adria action in the video. Great videos, keep up the good work.
The Knaus Sport and Fun, yes thats a funky European choice too 😊👍
How many gas bottles will it carry & is there a spare wheel?
To the best of my knowledge it takes one 11kg gas bottle, or smaller. I don’t know about a spare wheel on the Action but a dealer would be able to clarify that for you. Thanks, Karina
The one we bought and received this year it has space for two gas bottles 9 k ea.
can this be towed by a 2017 honda crv?
Depending on your model then it is very likely it could. The kerb weight would certainly be sufficient. Your caes towing limit will be on the V5 or the vehicle plate. Thanks, Karina
Not sure on the quirky exterior much prefer the interior. One thing I don’t get is why manufacturers fit the electric and aerial sockets so high up away from the TV, how on earth do you hide the cables. Nice review.
i agree lucky with my swift eccles 560 all hidden both in lounge and bedroom
Thanks for watching Colin 👍
How many litres of hot water would the shower supply please?
The shower will use the hot water in the heated tank, which is usually around 12 litres but that would be very hot so you would draw cold in too. If you put the hot water heater on high it will heat the water very quickly. The shower will keep pumping water as long as you have water in your aquaroll or waterhog, which is up to 51 litres. If you were on a serviced pitch you could keep the water running as ling as you wanted, depending on how quick you used the hot water. On board showers are pretty good, two people would get a good shower each. Karina 😊
@@HereWeTow thank you
Think I would struggle, as I am only 5ft tall.
I do like the funkiness tho👍
Is it available in the USA?
You may be able to import one from Europe but I dont think Adria are available in the USA. 😊 Karina
Bummer ,thanks anyway 👍🏼
Perhaps they should have used one of those big kitchen drawers as a drawer fridge…
Thats a good idea..🤔 not heard that suggested before…👍
good vid as alway hope u keeping well. its not my thing tho and the price well i think £14550 more realistic. never been a fan of sprite but value for money cannot be beaten. design well remember that awful citroen cactus? have that as ur tow car and they are a match. ninja turtle outfit haha oh well good job we all like different things.
Thanks for watching Andy, something for everyone and thankfully there is plenty of choice out there. 👍
I cannot imagine that towing caravans with a Subaru without a turbocharger and without torque ist any fun 😞
oh forgot to comment i agree fridge location crazy not practical and looks ugly right up there. wont be long until thats changed fridge at bottom closet on top lol
Say what you see!!!!
Weirdest layout! One socket in living area, no table to eat diner from, a fridge that is so high you need a step to open, and to top it up ceiling sockets to plug a kettle into, of which most kettle leads would not fit. Sorry Adria, but you need to look at the swift base camp for some ideas.
Esp water ingress.
We looked at the at the swift base camp there’s no comparison, quality wise and equipment..
There is a table to eat diner but can be dropped down to allow more space..
Sharp edges on the furniture can give you bruises.
Caravan...not CaravVAN 😂
Yes I’ve heard it before..it’s a northern pronunciation obviously 🙄
We don't have, the caravan has. It's crap, the front window is like a letter box.
Not for you then.. thank you for watching Rob 😊
Sink above toilet that you have to pull down after going to the toilet...um no. You need to wash your hands immediately after going to the toilet, you should not need to put your hands all over everything in order to facilitate to wash them afterwards. That is unhygienic, never mind GROSS! I would never want any guy doing this in a bathroom I share and I wouldn't want to do it myself either because yup, it's just gross.
