Just updated this Slow Joe track, remixed and mastered - now with a nice Mixo-Dorian scale chart and individual triads superimposed over the E minor pentatonic scale.

Your goal as a soloist is to create MELODY. Our neck diagrams give you the notes you can use to create that melody in REAL TIME. Think of the Diagrams as 3 layers of information:
1. PENTATONIC - The pentatonic scale works all the time and almost never changes, so this is the basic level.
2. MODE - The mode will always be the pentatonic PLUS 2 NOTES (modes have 7 notes). The mode can change depending on the chords (modal interchange).
3. CHORD - The chord layer shows you the notes of the chord changes (aka the HARMONY) in REAL TIME. Outgoing notes get smaller and fade out, incoming notes will fade in, so you know what notes to go for next.
In our app AlphaJams (currently in Beta), you will be able to control which layer you see, and how much of the neck you see. It should be out in the next few months, so please stay tuned!

God this is so good to jam over . Alpha jams is so amazing . I’ve played music all my life . People ask what instruments I say if it makes noise I can make a tune. 30yrs playing guitar atleast I know that much and this is just such a helpful way for people to see the patterns understand how they fit together and idk how it doesn’t just open flood gates of ideas . It’s going to be game changing when it releases. Like Fret zealot big , like tab book big . This is going to be and is the future to learning how to play along with learn how to and help people create music .
