I wish this tournament had a better camera angle, the rallies always looked so much slower than they really were.
Yeah, it's a terrible camera angle. It's a similar one in the ATP Finals in London.
Try watching in 1,25x speed. That's how I watch most HLs, it's pretty awesome.
I don’t think the camera angle had anything to do with it, this definitely was a slow, high bouncing court.
Serena’s service motion was really odd in this tournament.... l appreciate she had an elbow issue possibly inflammation, but she didn’t seem to push off with her legs. Was she suffering with an abdominal strain? I remember the final the abdominal tear. But her lateral movement was so good. I’m surprised she didn’t pull out. But then again she got to the final with, what I would describe as one her biggest assets (her serve) not working

Why do you think she deserved a slam? She played so poorly in the 2 slam finals that she made.
She was a solid player for sure, but I never felt like she was a contender to win a Slam.
Regulus Arcturus well that’s your opinion but many people in tennis world know elena as a best tennis player that has never never won a slam and she certainly is

Elena was a real scraper but she would be soooo bratty..and she did not like the williams sisters look at those handshakes she said something very racsist about the williams one time it blew up in the knews and she was gonna be suspended and then the williams sisters just brush her off like she was nothing and they both would defeat her manytimes she did defeat them a couple times but they owed her...i was a so..so.. Fan of eleana but. After she mad those statements about the williams sisters i would always go against her...love serna's outfit..
omg why need to be so dramatic about handshakes and other stuff. First of all it was a joke, secondly Elena was young when she said that. Many players in WTA said loads of nasty or silly comments at younger stages of their careers. Serena did it too. Elena always treated both Serena and Venus with respect. No need to be so dramatic.
There was nothing racist said, period.
Her handshakes were always bitchy when it comes to the Williams sisters but I wouldn’t call that racist. BUT she never said something nice about them,so go figure 🤷🏾♂️
She didn't say something nasty, just a personal opinion, She thinks serenas father will decide who wins wimbledon, she is russian they are not so kind and say what they think but that stament was not nasty or rude after that Elena apologized directly to serena and Venus, even when she retired, Serena wrote on her website good luck we had great batlles on court. The another issue was when a Fed Cup coach said the brother Williams in a TV show Elena was there but she didn't say anything or laughs she was quite and serious.
