First of all, thank you for watching this video! It means a lot to us that you would choose to watch our video.
Secondly, we have had a few really hard months. The channel has suffered but now we are trying to build it back up again. Chris finally started kindergarten last week after months of trouble about the government accepting our adoption papers and the school needing the government's approval. We have also moved house twice, changed jobs and had an emergency surgery.
Needless to say, maintaining the consistency and quality required to successfully run a reaction channel has been really difficult for us. Not having the time, the energy or the mood have just been some of the obstacles.
But we should be back on track now. Please subscribe and let's get this ride back pointing in the right direction.

Did you listen to the track 'Infestissumam'? "Il Padre, Il filio, et lo Spiritus Malum, Omnis caelestis delenda est" literally says that the diabolical Trinity will end heaven.

Not quite, Tobias Forge (lead singer) has mentioned in interviews that the bad isn’t satanic in a biblical sense, but more so in a societal sense, and they use it to express rebellion. Forge has also stated he himself isn’t a satanist, saying he doesn’t believe if satan or god, but does want to believe in something.
He’s a known Freemason, if that matters at all to you. Square Hammer is all about Freemason iconography and rituals.
Satanists don’t necessarily believe in satan tho...

I love Ghost. With that being said, Tobias is a Satanist. He is very Antichrist. If you would listen to all of his interviews you would know that. He doesn't try and hide it.

I saw Ghost live a few years ago in an amusement park in Sweden. Since they played in an amusement park the audience had a mix of old and young people and kids.
Everyone, young, old, kid joined in on the chorus "Hell Satan". Good times were had. :)

I was there, along with my wife, my father, my best friend's parents, his sisters, and a friend of the family. Good times were indeed had.
The funniest part is that they elect a new Papa Emeritus (the lead singer) every album. And they change their style and outfit for each one. The rest of the members are just called Nameless Ghouls. Quite funny. :)

Yeah, and nameless ghouls participate only on live shows. Recording is done mainly by Tobias only and some other musicians.
This is what Tobias does to you. You hear one song and like it. Then you decide to listen to another one and thinking hmmm, this was different from the other but I liked it too. This keeps on repeating and then without you knowing it you love everything about his music. There is so much for you to discover and i will let you do it in your own way. But just to give some information , Opus Eponymous is about the coming of the Antichrist, and Infestissumam, which is about the presence of the Antichrist, Meliora's main theme is "the absence of god". Prequelle is about the black plague and Impera is about the rise and fall of empires.

Darkest song you've ever heard? Sweet summer children, I have some surprises for you! I had not learned your opinion on Occult/Satanic/Demon-worshipping/Anti-religious themes. If you're interested, I'll start adding them into my suggestions. For a couple starters try "Abigail" by King Diamond, or "Oro Pro Nobis Lucifer", by Behemoth, which is one of my all time favorite songs!
*Tribal* and *Weak Fantasy* by Nightwish are also scathing about organised religion.

Freezing Moon, Mayhem and My Funeral by Dark Funeral are more darkness.
There are so many more songs out there by bands who ARE satanic that make this sound like a Sunday school song. There are even bands that are not that have heavier occult songs than this.

You totally have to watch Ghost - He Is, especially Live performance from Grammy`s, probably one of the best performances I have seen in my life.
If you want to listen to a dark, yet also elegant and well orchestrated song of Ghost's, I highly recommend Majesty or Deus in Absentia!
Since I’m a ghost listener, Tobias has said so many times in interviews that they do not worship satan, and that it’s just fun making the music. They are amazing and such sweet people they. I love seeing other people’s opinions on their songs they make so many amazing songs.

im no Satanist, but the religion itself preaches self love, and leaving others alone. its not about these blood sacrifices, or wanting to hurt others that often gets mentioned. even if it did, the bible itself is chalked full of sacrifices of animals, or other people. religion itself is very fascinating and each one is worth looking into from an interlexical preceptive
Thank you for this! I’m a theistic Luciferian and it’s so infuriating to see people being like “don’t worry guys they aren’t Satanic!” as if it would even be bad in the first place. Makes me disappointed that people are so afraid of Satanism and Luciferianism, they’re absolutely beautiful religions and probably some of the most moral religions on the Earth, at this point. People need to get it out of their heads that a deity or entity is inherently good or evil. We can’t classify Lucifer as good or evil, for he is not human, and our constructs do not apply to him. Lucifer is the light bringer, the morning star, a symbol of true knowledge and absolute free will. I wish more people would realize that he is not horrid and cruel.

Thanks for your reaction videos. Always interested in other people's opinions about GHOST. It could be because I'm older than the average Ghost fan but I don't find them satanic in the least. They toss out words and images that can be interpreted as evil or oppressive but I think its more for the purpose of owning these things ; don't fear them, bring them out into the light. FEAR NO ART.
This is a love song, guys. It's about loving the one true savior cast out of heaven by an evil god who wouldn't stop abusing their power.

@@themplar It was Repugnant, and Tobias went by the name Mary Goore at the time. He also dressed as a nun sometimes with that band for shits and giggles. They were some pretty fun black metal, but I think his songwriting has improved and matured with Ghost.

Just so you know, Ghost members are not really satanist. They are mostly atheists/agnostics using the imagerie and themes for lyrics and shock value.
The catholic theme they put on is basically irony. A lot of the lyrics are mocking religion.

Ok I know this video is a year old but I'm going to go ahead and clear up a couple things. First: The welcoming of the man by the women was symbolic of "Satan" being summoned, the dinner being thrown in his honor (or invocation ritual), when the women begin undressing and putting on the robes could be symbolic of stripping themselves of their old lives per se, year zero is definitely the point in time when God gave Satan dominion over the earth (read your bible for more context on this), and the smiling kid, well that actually was inspired by the end scene in The Omen when Damion looks back over his shoulder and stares at the camera. Take this all with a grain of salt and interpret it as you will. Oh yeah, the beginning chant is calling out the names of satan: Belial, Behemoth, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Satanas, Lucifer. Symbolic of the invocation part of a satanic ritual. As I said, take this with a grain of salt. I'm only speaking from my own experiences with satanism.

Ghost is one of my favorites and they are NOT SATANIC by any means! Everything they do is a schtick and irony. I promise you, they aren't as dark as they seem.
Don't be naive, you don't have to lie to others to convince them to like ghost. They already sound good and jam out, the music speaks for itself.
As a ghost fan this music is definitely satanic, the whole talking point that it's just a schtick and irony is only a cover to convince others to listen to them. Have you seen the video of the priest who talks about this topic, he explains it better than I can. Ghost is definitely satanic by all means if you believe in Christianity at all.
@@TheNotoriousNemo You are correct, but most people think that "satanic" means worshipping Satan, sacrifices ,etc... Tobias does not worship Satan, or anything for that matter. Being satanic to them means more of just being rebellious against organized religion and making fun of Christianity and all of its hypocrisies.
If you follow them you would understand. Love Ghost really want to see them when they come to VA in a few weeks If I can . Religious satire at its best is what they are about.
