+Papyrus, Spooky ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Lord of the Bone Zone (I can also make Spaghetti) He's not actually weak against it. He's just... disadvantaged against his own 10yr player self.... spamming fireballs.
@Pucopocre I wonder if matt ever signs into this account anymore just to look at comments? Matt, if you do, lemme just say thank you for leaving all these videos up. It means a lot to a bunch of people.
This was in the suggested bar at the right because of Liam and Woolie's current Mega Man playthrough (2016) and I'm enjoying this again. Maybe more so than the first time I watched it back in 2012, haha.
"I'm going to make a million dollars but I'm not gonna give you ANY OF IT!" "...You're going to give ME some of it!" I think it's funny that Pat doesn't even question it; he more or less agrees that is thing Matt is capable of doing.
love you guys, ( no homo ) but watching this was torchering !! you are all in for a treat aft er finishing the first set of bosses ! it took me 3 continues to beat this game on my first playthough today and im not a MM veteran
Lithium Flower Why yes, yes it is. A friend made it for me after I joked about having an intro like the bosses from Borderlands. Apparently he took it as a challenge. It also has a nice little monocle too.
Felipe Aguena True but the point is that he can do it in a flash because he just kinda flash freezes time. Quick Man is more conventionally fast, and he actually has a limiter that if removed lets him move at, I forget the exact number, but I believe it's around 5,000 miles per hour. For some reason I wanna say it's 5,138 miles per hour.
i usually watch a lot of the creatures and the chronocast crew; diciton, utorak, junk, gassy, and chilled.. i gotta say this was super legit and i just subbed yall
Looking back, I'm not sure which was worse. Capcom co-opting a fan game for the anniversary of one of its biggest mascots or that fan game really not being very good at all.
Network Transmission, the most difficult Mega Man game? Decent, sure, and challenging at first to get a grasp on because of the tie-mechanics to the Battle Network games, but those same mechanics prevent it from being hard once you have a handle on them, because if you're patient you can just save your powerful cards to crush anything remotely threatening. Even Zero and Bass aren't particularly tough once you start playing the game right. Then again, people say the Mega Man series itself is super hard, which isn't even true for its own time.
Nintendo is gonna buy Megaman eventually.. and when they do, I want an HD Megaman with 8 new robot masters that aren't copies from megaman 2.. fucking megaman 6 bullshit
Daniel Fonseca When was the last time Megaman was looked at by anyone other than Nintendo? None of them are pretty much interested in him. Of course smash doesn't mean jackshit. Nintendo has been paying a whole lot of attention to him lately, they have been for awhile. Putting megaman games on eShop each Saturday. Nintendo has been looking at megaman for awhile dude.
I always thought this game was a nice idea but horribly executed. They went overboard with the difficulty because of the memes "classic mega is so hard lol".
Zangief = Fast, short lasting lariet and a long lasting slow moving lariet and invincible to projectiles. Vanishing flask blocks projectiles. Can turn metal to breath fire for a moment. Has a charging grab move with armor. Has a stationary grab movie that does 1/3 your health bar but easy to dodge. Has a homing aerial body press, cause him just homing in with that would be awesome.
Robot Masters Day Man, Night Man, and Green Man; all created by the evil Dr. Mantis Tobaggan Dee would be like a skinnier version of Storm Eagle (or called Bird Woman, I guess), maybe throw in The Waitress and The Lawyer too
Part of the stigma comes from the 14(?) "DLC" characters being found on the disc, this I'm pretty sure is the biggest reason people don't like it. It really upset people and caused a lot of fans to get angry at Capcom. Another reason is the timer is too fast, something I've experienced is matches ending prematurely or people just waiting in the corner "laming it out" to win a match. The last reason is that combos can do too much damage or something along those lines, like 60% in one. Not too sure about that point.
Okay I admit I flubbed on that, I got things mixed up. I knew the problem was related to damage and I just kind of auto-assumed that was referencing combos. What it was actually referring to was everyone bar Hugo and King do the same amount of damage on their normals (I think). King and Hugo doing slightly more but having the trade-off of being slightly slower, I don't know I've played the game casually for maybe a week. But on the combo point you made I'd say it depends on the game, for slower paced games like Street Fighter and Soul Calibur combos are indeed good but not nearly that good as there is damage scaling making it so hits deteriorate in damage as a a combo goes on. I'd argue the gameplay instead focuses more on spacing and set-ups where in far faster paced ones like KOF or MvC combos are what the game's centered around. Not to say set ups and spacing aren't important in those but I'd say they'd be less so.
does anyone think Capcom themselves are aware of the "Capcom Test" of putting out a game, tell no-one it exists and then treat that as proof that nobody wanted it like complete morons?
Of course Woolie would use Ryu's Hadoken against Blanka. Newsflash Woolie: you're not nearly as good as Daigo, and the CPU is not nearly as bad as you.
What Woolie said about the first one you played as a kid is the best one is so true. I've played majority of the pokemon games but I've always loved ruby.
Holy fuck these level and enemy designs are trash. Capcom took the game, they couldve atleast brought back the old mega man magic to the levels and bosses.
This may sound like a dumb question since I don't play games on PC. But how do you connect a 360 controller to a computer? The PS3 controller has the USB port for recharging but the 360 doesn't.
All wired 360 pads come with USB converters that you attach to the end of the cable. Wireless pads can be hooked up with a special USB dongle made by Microsoft to connect the wireless controller to the PC.
You can use the Madcatz arcade sticks on a PC aswell. The PS3 version needs some extra USB drivers, but the Xbox360 sticks work without any drivers or setup at all.
Hey TheSw1tcher, Megaman was literally my childhood. My parents have always been strict with me on TV, so I was stuck watching Battle Network on TV and have bought every megaman game I could get my hands on. It's literally the only Capcom game I've liked. I'm so unbelievably pissed at capcom for not going with Megaman, It's good to know theres some people out there that feel the same way I do about this great series.
I had to look up EX transmission, then remembered I played it before about 6-7 years ago.. it was fun I think, not great but nice, a good translation of the Network games to a platformer... It was fun to watch them play this strange, but intriguing game. I'm downloading it no questions asked, thanks TBF!
I didn't know it for the longest time, because SSF4AE was the first Street Fighter game (and first fighting game, actually) that I've spent more than a few minutes playing, and I only started playing it in September. I was watching some Third Strike on RUclips one day, and saw some Urien play, and went "... wait a minute." I pulled up a video of Seth's moves and did a comparo, and sure enough, a bunch of Seth's normals were originally Urien's. Seth's Focus Attack is perhaps the clearest example.
You gotta admit though that it would be funny to see Matt attempt some of the bosses or for Pat to play it with Matt taking shots at him the whole time.
I know that, but the version that is used for the Two Best Friends theme is the version from Kirby's Epic Yarn, because that was the first game that they (Matt & Pat) played.
51:10: It's nice that someone else noticed that. Considering how Captain Commando's game takes place in the distant future of 2026, I imagined C. Viper's tech being prototypes to what CapCom would eventually use.
They could play it possibly either by a keyboard config, or some games can take controllers with a USB cord to plug in. That's my guess, I don't play PC very much other than Bastion, and that's a keyboard config.
"They won't fuck up the next street fighter"
Oh boy they sure did😂
Johnny Herrera they really didn't
Oh yes they fucking did.
Yeah they did.
nah not really
"You're gonna need CViper." "What does she give you? Like, Thunder Knuckle?" Nah, she gives you The Chocolate.
Most underrated comment
"I predict Capcom projects into the future will not meet expectations"
Well he wasn't wrong.
Then devil may cry 5 happened
Still right
"One that's not out yet"
Woolsworth, that's like saying "my girlfriend goes to another school".
Your avatar resembles my reaction to what Crapcom did to megaman
Yeah, and we had two Mega Man games cancelled since then for no reason.
The boss weaknesses are
Ryu: Aegis Reflector (Urien)
Chun-Li: Hadoken (Ryu)
C. Viper: Lighting Kick (Chun-Li
Dhalsim: Optic Laser (C. Viper)
Blanka: Yoga Inferno (Dhalsim)
Rose: Tropical Hazzard (Blanka)
Rolento: Soul Satellite (Rose)
Urien: Mine Sweeper (Rolento)
The 5 extra bosses (Balrog, Vega, M. Bison, Akuma (Secret Boss) and Sagat (Secret Boss (V2 Only) have no weaknesses
+Reyn, 360 No-Scope Master, King of Crab People, & Wielder of the Fist of Justice and ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) The easiest one to defeat without power ups is?
Wofoeh8001 Chun-Li.
+Papyrus, Spooky ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Lord of the Bone Zone (I can also make Spaghetti)
He's not actually weak against it. He's just... disadvantaged against his own 10yr player self.... spamming fireballs.
+Papyrus, Spooky ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Lord of the Bone Zone (I can also make Spaghetti) Pfft, Blanka's way easier.
PROTIP: Walking or jumping directly into enemies = BAD THING.
Rising Tackle is so fucking cool.
Damn you, RUclips recommendations whyCry
I would never expect Woolie of all people to be better at Mega Man than Matt and Pat.
Psst. Hey.
This video’s 6 years old.
It's older than my boyfriend.
Psst. Hey.
This video's 8 years old, going on 9.

I love how Woolie tries to look like a cool guy but IMMEDIATLY embarasses himself by making a really dumb question
I don't normally watch a lets play but I've seen every single one of your videos. You guys are freaking hilarious. That includes Woolie too.
Well, if you clicked one of our videos, you should know that "accurate" and "history" is not really attributes we have ever claimed to have.
@Pucopocre I wonder if matt ever signs into this account anymore just to look at comments? Matt, if you do, lemme just say thank you for leaving all these videos up. It means a lot to a bunch of people.
They're all naked playing this game for their homosexual anniversary.
I sometimes go back to this video just to hear them shit on Rising Tackle :P
My favorite video from you guys so far.
megaman's just like "IF YOU LOVE ME LET ME GOOOOOOOOOO"
and so they did......
god talking about rolento and how he could have been in sf 4.....and then ultra happened after this...

Well this appeared on my recommendations.

I saw what you did there
Woolie called QuickMan FlashMan... I'm not particularly mad, I'm just kinda sad he mixed up the fast guy with the time stopping guy.
Is your avatar Guile's head on a tank's body?
Lithium Flower Why yes, yes it is. A friend made it for me after I joked about having an intro like the bosses from Borderlands. Apparently he took it as a challenge. It also has a nice little monocle too.
Well, you know Woolie.

+Gam3H3ro Lmao
I hate Capcom for what they did to Mega Man.
And what would that be
They abandoned him, left him in the dust, left him to look at his former glory.
Scott Farmer You know he's not real right?
Vaati Minish NO, IS HE REALLY?
I agree, CapCom cancelled like 4 mega man games
You guys should finish this one together. So long but so good!
I just saw game center CX BC u guys mentioned it and it sucks u guy are worth watching keep it up
MAtt making the Chun-Li noise...i lose my shit

Its not Konami endorsed but A. Frontier released two Touhou Project X Castlevania fan games years back and they are amazing tributes to both.
I'm going to sound like a complete idiot but I don't understand why people don't like x tekken

This is the best thing ever. Now there should be a series of videos called "Pat's childhood" starting with a play through of Xenogears.
Of course Woolie would use Ryu's Hadoken against Blanka. Newsflash Woolie: you're not nearly as good as Daigo, and the CPU is not nearly as bad as you.

once again Matt, Pat, and Woolie impress the crap outta me with their knowledge of video games in general.

So just curious do you guys plan on finishing Street Fighter X Megaman?
Or was this more of a "hey let's look at this game" one time thing?
Rising Tackle FTW ! that move is awesome XD
All wired 360 pads come with USB converters that you attach to the end of the cable. Wireless pads can be hooked up with a special USB dongle made by Microsoft to connect the wireless controller to the PC.

I wonder if pat can't hold two bottoms at once, he can't seem to hold his charge shot while maneuvering
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but when I went to the capcom-unity site I didn't see how to download the game. Can somebody help me out?
Hey, was wondering what you guys used to run this game?
Is their a mac equivalent to the software?
how bout with a psp modded into a wireliss controller? would it still not be the same as an SNES?
Rolento's pogo jump sounds a lot like Scrooge McDuck's jump from the NES 'Duck Tales' games.
Hey, Pat.
The new DmC is looking super good.
The irony in Pat loving the Green pokemon and Woolie loving the Blue pokemon
Whats the little jingle at the start of the vid?
i want a channel where woolie just plays different fighting games with different guests on every week or something.
Heres a good question how exactly does megaman variable weapon system copy chun-lis and balankas attacks?
and love info that u guys talk about
Have you guys ever heard of "KirbyVania"? It's castlevania, but with Kirby. It is pretty hype
They could play it possibly either by a keyboard config, or some games can take controllers with a USB cord to plug in. That's my guess, I don't play PC very much other than Bastion, and that's a keyboard config.
That was why i subbed tbh. These days its just not the same :(
