- The new year's fishing season down here in central Texas often begins with whitebass and their spawning run up into the creeks and rivers. This simple fly is a very easy tie good for beginners looking to get in on some of the whitebass action "On the Fly"
Nice river fly as well, the walleye kill this fly..... shad are walleys favorite food and this kills THAAANK YOU !!
Works fantastic on my fast water river rig......
Thank Mr Bob Clouser..
Never thought to use ice dub on a clouser. I’m gonna try that pattern for stripers & smallmouth this spring. Also, does your buddy J-moe have a yt channel?
nope.. he's the star in mine..
I never thought of using markers on a closer. Great tip.
This makes using lighter colored materials more useful as you can make them darker "on the fly"
Great video. Any news about Somerville Dam? If they’re open yet for fishing?
yes they opened it back up last summer.. 2021
@@FishTales-Reel-Life-Adventure thanks
Wow! Those look really nice! Would you be interested in doing a little business my friend? Ide love to have some of your flies and the "magical clouser" has me interested as well.
nope.. don't want anything to do with tying for money... that's kind of like a free puppy..
