Presumingly the best BR52 Moc I've seen up to now. Slightly too big for the rails, I try to stick to 1:42 aprox, but the details you were able to put in there are great. Makes me want to do my next moc even better, but probably will frustrate me a bit, as I'll not be able to add all of such details in my scale. So, admiration, a little envy, and a tiny bit of frustration, all in one, on my side :D
I totally get that. At the beginning, I was experimenting with different prototypes to see which scale works best. This here was actually the smallest model where the valve gear could still be accurately integrated (at least to my taste). I totally understand your frustration regarding the Lego track width. :)
This thing is beautiful! Will it ever be open to the public to purchase instructions and pieces to purchase? Just came into a bunch of WWII German Lego vehicles and would love this to be apart of war time build. ❤
It’s doubtful but if you want this locomotive Cobi make one in the same red and black colours. They have high quality bricks just like Lego’s and have all printed pieces with no stickers. I’d really like to get it myself but I’m priced out at over €200 for it.
Absolut grandios deine Bauweise…. Und deine Videos…. Vielen Dank…. Mach’s gut 🙋🏽♂️🐝
Great work! Please submit this idea to lego! I would buy your set. Never knew this iconic loco can be made by using lego! By the way, how did you manage to get the wheels?
Excellet work. So track 6 studs, that is two more than standard? Would you say, this is lego minifig scale? Also, did you only use lego pieces ‚as is‘ or did you have to modify some, by sanding smaller for example? Awesome work!
Thank you! The track is 1 stud wider than standard. (6 vs. 5 studs) The scale is around 1:30 (Is this minifig-scale? - I don't know) All pieces used are "as is" - except for the wheels, they are custom (Bigbenbricks)
exquisite use of hot dogs for the sand dispensers :D
Are those using sand or mustard? ;)
@@Nebarus might be mustard
@@Godzilla20191 it must be red, so this time it has to be ketchup.... (or currysausages, hmmmm)
Ye, thats a cool build hack ngl
I see the Lego community is flexing their engineering skills as usual, and rightly so!
Absolutely gorgeous! The scale is perfect for all the detail in the valve gear
One this is a set and still it's not even a official Lego set it's a knockoff
Don't you insult Cobi like that, their Engineering and brick quality is BETTER than Legos.
@@dlfuentes11 🤣 this is genuine lego, if you even took a single look on the internet you can see the clear difference between cobi and this 😁
Holy, that’s amazing! That’s one of the best lego locomotives I’ve ever seen! Also smart use of wieners for sanders!
A full tour of the locomotive? I NEED A PURCHASABLE SET OF THIS RIGHT NOW! :-)
Cobi make one
maybe next on cada or mouldking
@@Deuce_and_a_halfI think cobi already has made a Kriegslok
@@HighballMachineWorks that’s what I said xD
This is the best real life lego train I have seen so far!
Excellent. Love the German Steam trains. Full tour... Yes, please! Show us more of this very detailed BR52 class Steam train
Full tour is online now!
@@legomanufaktur I admire your technique in making the siderods and valve gear. That's no easy feat to accomplish. You've got skills, my dude.
That traction on the tracks is insane
It's propped off of the rails so it doesn't move
A true work of art, something to be very proud of. Glad I could see it.
Absolute work of art!
I absolutely love this!
Superb build. I have the Cobi Br52. They should definitely implement. a working valve gear into their locomotives.

Very nice mechanism and function. A full tour would be nice.

This is a friggin subscription. Beautiful job man.
Eine Freude, da zuzusehen! Super gemacht!
That looks brilliant - Excellent effort!!

Wow! Absolutely incredible! ❤️
WOW, this is really cool!
I hope they will bring this one on the market, I really like to buy it.

Much more impressive than lego train sets.
I think I know what this video is referencing and I love it so much

Wait this is actually really cool
I would love a detailed look at the entire loco!
Video is on the way. Stay tuned!
Me, too, please!
Full tour is online now!
wish lego would do stuff like this
The Cobi model does not incorporate the fine, working detail of the valve gear, like this model does.
Very nice video, LIKE.
Excellent work
pretty impressive
I believe I see an old and similar one like this before
Wow Man Do you should send this master piece to Lego ideas its 😎👌👏
I have that comeing from amozon rn and im screwed like look at how many small pieces there are it'll that days to build
can you PLEASE make instructions for those? iv whanted to put valve gear on my engines since Emerald Night came out
This is really awesome. I love it. Do you have the instructions and part list for this?
What's the minimum curve this will handle? r104? 😀
It's..... beautiful
thank you!
the valve gear on it looks great, too. I wish i could do something like that with lego, and thank you for showing this to the world!
The only lego trains capable of scaring me are those with full valve gear
You should try some lights from brickloot
LEGO, PLEASE MAKE TRAINS THAT ACTUALLY LOOK COOL!!!! AND STOP MAKING TRAINS YOU'D FIND IN THE CITY AND MAKE MORE STEAM LOCOMOTIVES!!!!
Great work! Please submit this idea to lego! I would buy your set. Never knew this iconic loco can be made by using lego! By the way, how did you manage to get the wheels?
There is a model of the steam locomotive BR 52 by Cobi. Just google it.
I bought the wheels at bigbenbricks.
Can you do frisco 1522?
i know its not that famous abroad but someone could make the famous MÁV 424 series Bivaly locomotive in lego
finally some one did it!
great wrk, job very well done. And now compare this piece of art to the crap lego is selling to us
Very awesome
Can those wheels be used on regular Lego rails?
as far as I know, yes. There are also some variants without flange available.
What kind of song is playing in the background?
"In the hall of the mountain king"
The breaks are hotdogs and I can’t on see it
Great, question, how can i order the wheels with these small wheel tires ?
regarding my wheels: I ordered them from "bigbenbricks"
thats crazy :0
It is the db class 10
This is BR 52.
Can you do the Flying Scotsman?
unfortunately there are no green wheels available in this size.
@@legomanufaktur What about BRgreen Flying Scotsman?
The fact he did this by himself
Try it on normal rails and see if works
how it looks with cobi one?
compared*
Nice, but the driving wheels look a bit on the small side to me.
unfortunately there aren't many sizes of wheels to choose from. This was the closest I could get. But I agree with you - should be a little bigger.
perfect
Lol the sausages xD
Is that some Easter egg bc the Locomotive and the Sausage looking so German?
Awesome😮😮😮😮

awesome!!
does it have custom (not official lego) parts?
The wheels are from Big Ben Bricks LLC, the rest is made from official lego parts.
why did you keep zooming in on the same spot on the model instead of showing off the design of the entire model?
Because this video is about the valve gear and not the rest of the model
Make it actually move now
COBI Make a BR52 too MOC
Paint it Gray next
Its kinda simillar to COBI
Instructions would be nice....
sublime !
Damn, and I thought Cobi's BR52 was impressive...
