Our Brand New Rolls Royce's Window Cracked And We Don't Know Why?!

So yes our brand spanking new Rolls Royce Dawn with only 2,000 miles on the clock had a cracked windshield and we have no idea how or why it happened. Oh and it also happens to be one of the most expensive windshields to replace in the automotive industry! Thank god for insurance... Follow me through the meticulous and stressful process of replacing a Rolls Royce's windshield.

That is crazy ... wonder if the glass got too hot in the sun and then water hit it (car wash, sprinklers, etc??) Would Rolls Royce has some sort of warranty coverage on it or a warranty might only cover mechanicals.

Do you park the car outside? If it’s cold and then you heat it up inside than the windshield will crack.

He lives in San Diego so I would be surprised if the car ever experiences dramatic temperature fluctuations/differentials.

@@ashribes8810 it's highly because of the rock, I live in Canada and temperature is not a problem for the windshield.
