I don't know if this is a click bait title or what it is, but that is not an IC-7300, it is clearly marked 9700
@jake estepp the guy I was referring was using a 7300 and a transverter.
This is ICOM 9700 not ICOM 7300 ..something wrong

Whats the transverter model?
transverters-store.com/144mhz_tcxokit.htmIt has worked great. Mine is the older version that the Lo drifts a bit but once the temp stabilizes it is fairly solid. I believe he has changed the crystal for a TCXO that should be more stable
