Marvelous video. I visited NYC in August and it was wonderful. You showed my 3 favorites: Hudson Yards, 9/11 Memorial and The Brooklyn Bridge. In good weather, I forego museums, although NYC has some of the best museums on earth. I had not heard of the East River Ferry, it looks fun.

Will be flying into Newark and staying at Newark Penn Station hotel Oct 17-20. Will be taking in a day or 2 or Manhattan with my 6 year old! Can't wait!
It depends, you can find more affordable hotels to save money. If you're traveling with several people, you'll spend quite a bit on food. I'm planning to make a NYC on a budget video in the future

You have to visit at least one museum! The Whitney or The Guggenheim or The Frick would be good and not too overwhelming.

Enjoy your trip! There are plenty of trains that go straight from Newark Penn Station into Manhattan via the PATH or NJ Transit
