I'm planning on doing mostly normal roads and every so often a bit of highway riding. Is it manageable on the highway? I know single cylinders aren't ideal for the highway but I wanted to know if there's like big problems at those speeds like crazy shaking or something like that. I have a car now that isn't meant really for highway riding and it shakes a lot at those speeds, but it's still manageable so I don't really mind. So my question is a bit similar to that, not the most comfortable but still manageable so it isn't actually dangerous on the highway.
well it's managable, the only downside is, is that you're in the high rpm's all the time. I remember on mine at 100kmh (60mph) i was sitting at roughly 4500rpms with standard gearing and with the bike redlining at 7.5k rpm you can imagine it's quite loud. Other than that its perfectly fine.
Hey. I am interested into getting a Roadsitalia Exhaust for my MT-03 as well. But I can't tell from their website if their Exhausts come with a E stamp. Does your exhaust have the E stamp on it?
@@Noke28 Thanks for the reply! Ordered it just now. If they are legal on paper then I won't be mad about a little extra noise haha. Tbf it cant be worse than my stock exhaust. Im not sure if broken or if its a factory thing but it makes a really high pitch annoying sound at certain rpm's. Cant wait to finally be rid of that when the new season starts :D
Sorry for the late reply. I use these: www.amazon.de/dp/B07P8LB535/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_8Rn4FbFNC9NKS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&pldnSite=1 Vibrations are more intense than with the original mirrors but in my opinion not a big problem. I still have plenty visibility and they have an E-Stamp so they are perfectly legal.
Hey! Maybe you know what causes that strange sound from the chain when you accelerate? I have the same sound coming from there... I watched other videos with MT 03 660 and seems they don't have this sound
@@Noke28 for example 0:37, you give some acceleration and after that noise occurs from chain? And when you release throttle then it's gone Same ant 1:00 ; 5:06 I noticed that this sound occurs at 2nd and 3rd gear mostly, I tried to find a solution for this but without luck
@@Denis_Audio Sorry for the late reply. It's either because my chain is a little loose, but only a slight amount or it's just because of my audio setup, because the phone is in my backpack and on the side of the chain.
@@Ryan-vg1ot i bought my 06' 2 years ago from the dealer bone stock with around 14000kms on it for 3300€ but I think they have gotten more expensive now. I also put in around another 1000 in mods alone. A sport exhaust is pretty much a must on this bike as the stock one sounds awful!

yes they are perfectly road legal in the EU although they are a bit too loud :D
