Oh man, I remember this one too. Oh the memories. It starts strong it ends... kinda 'eh'. Return of the dragon was a pretty big follow up of a custom campaign too with tons of custom units and models and ability and all. ... Which sadly is quite broken and unplayable after some later patches I believe (could be wrong)
To clarify "Spiderqueen campaign" was made in the Original WC3 Editor so a lot of customisation you're used too in campaigns you've played weren't available yet.

this is my 2 fav campaign my fav is the one with ice troll speaking of buggy campaigns dark times is realy buggy in the start but do save at the start of each mission so you dont have deal with unskipable scenes
Holy shit, this brings back memories... I have to say, though, this is a pretty decent campaign. What interests me more is whether the second chapter ever got finished? Not only was it far more advanced in terms of features, but it also had more voice-acting to it and more complex levels.
@@PsychoGoldVideos I remember getting to, like, third mission? The one where we were supposed to choose one of the dragon eggs at the end of the labyrinth? And nothing happened for me afterwards, the campaign wouldn't progress any further than that, I was stuck at screen.
@@memer34per39 Yup. The campaign was only designed to play on what was the most up to date version of the time and it never got updated. Someone has made a patch that makes it work on the more modern versions of Warcraft but it's still very buggy.
Hey Jay have you ever tried Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun? It's a stealth based strategy game set in feudal Japan. I think it would be great if you could do a gameplay of it on YT: It's definetly your genre. Cheers from Italy! :D
I remember this one, I have played it once, however after I start second, mission 3 or 4 it will start a bug or glitch where all characters cannot be seen at all and whole map blackened and cannot control characters at all. I wonder if this bug (no pun intended) have already been solved

I recall someone has a 1.24 patched version at Hive if memory preserves.
God damn this hits hard with nostalgia. Used to love playing this campaign. Loved the idea of playing as a non humanoid race.

I thought that the protagonist's journey to be a queen was going to be a journey of several chapters.
He succeeds at the end of the first.

The campaign was finished.. but trying to actually play it is a whole another matter. Furthest I could ever get was wnd of mission 4.
