Cheers futureworldsmachines! The Digitakt actually has a bit of an old school colour/sound to the hardware. It's not as noticable as something like the Akai but I've been loving it with stereo samples now etc. The workflow is much more satisfying than the old Akai's but I love resampling through them into the Digitakt. The break in this actually went through the Akai with the +/- Pitch up/down turntable trick to reduce sample rate. 😊
Yea man I would love to make an album! At the moment its hard to find the time on top of Patreon & RUclips to fit in a lot of production sessions. I think after the summer I will have more of an opportunity to try really knuckle down and give it my best shot. Thanks Troy. This one came together pretty painlessly. Was just messing with a few patterns and suddenly you've got a tune going. The 128 steps and page loop make Digitakt 2 way better for fleshing out tracks now. Breakdown and Tricks videos coming this weel. 😊✌️

@@groovining cheers! Went off the reel to reel, tube eq, into an amiga sampling cart. No post processing, the "made break" sound is just the magic of the amiga mashing 2 seperate breaks together
I'm sorry dude... That sounded excruciating when you added the Digitakt drum pattern to it... Suggest slowing that stuff down and using probability for something more ambient to fit it...
Some people get jungle and others don’t. It’s all good. I don’t think this tune is the best thing I or anyone has done but if it’s not for you just click away.
