Otter and Bunny are conspiring together (“Outside”). Now you are in big trouble 😂 Honestly, it’s been said a million times but it is so mind blowing to see the thought process that goes on with these two. Bunny especially because here she is coming up with an alternative word for mad on her own (concerned). Just one example of so many times she has reasoned things out.
Yeah, the fact they can organize their thoughts, ask for what they want and understand another dog's needs and make the choice to advocate on their behalf.... its mind blowing 🤯
My favorite one is when bunny heard an ambulance but didn't have a button for that so she pushed, "squeaky" and "car"!
When a sibling is born.... when dad goes iut you are outnumbered . I gead my okder duaghter telking my younger that she d pay her a quarter if she d tell me thye wnat i e crema , and that she d agree . Well. We were alreayd at the store . I wnated osme too. Cant feed that dishonetsy obbvs but i told em they were busted but that i was going to get some anyway so they were lucky lol!! Parenthood. Otter and bunny using each other to play mom lol. Once they both can talk its all downhill lil

She is impressive. I knew dogs were smart, but she opens up a whole new view!
"But moooom.... couch!" Bunny really likes things to be in order.
Like Russel the cat with partially completed laundry, uncleaned litter box & things on the floor.
@@denalinde My first thought when I saw that clip was "Ohhh, Bunny's channeling Russell today!" And Russell has to have his own set of housecleaning words because disorganization upsets him so much. LOL
If Bunny is part sheepdog, and we know that dogs who are bred to work with sheep need their herd to be in order, otherwise it frustrates them, then it makes sense. It looks like household order and items and people are substituting for that herd, as we've seen with Border Collies that herd children and other people.
I had a Springer Spaniel that *_had_* to have routine, always. We couldn't do things differently. There was a right order and way to enter the car, to walk on the leash, and she'd get upset if we didn't follow the sequence and method. She had to walk next to me, with her bigger dog friend on the outside of the heel-order, etc.
Bunny: "My tummy hurts."
Otter: "If you're gonna poop, go outside!"
Bunny: "Yeah, that's probably a good idea."
"But mommy! Couch! Couch! Couch!" It reminds me of people at the table with forks banging down yelling "food! food! food!" 😆
The things Bunny can talk to you about never ceases to amaze me, and yet she still has her essential doggy nature and enjoys being "silly" too. And Otter is making so much progress! The way he backed up Bunny made me laugh, but that head nod... does he mimic human gestures as a way to communicate often, or was that the first time?
I've read somewhere in the comments one time that she has taught Bunny to nod for yes, so maybe she has taught Otter to do the same?
My Jack nodded for Yes, and I didn't teach him that. We didn't have buttons, but I had taught him a high number of words and meanings as he helped me as a Service Dog.
@@cacatr4495 I grew up on a farm, Sheep,Cows and Horses will learn to nod for yes, on their own, if they spend a lot of time with people.

I know Buddy the horse (a playful and charming Palomino affectionately nicknamed "Hollywood") does. He's so cute. He's on the RUclips channel called *_Think Like A Horse._* Animals sure are great!
"Can we go to the park?" "No, we already went to the beach."
And then Otters stroke of genius: "OH! But, how about, and just hear me out: We could go to the park TOO!" XD
Bunnys little tail wag when Otter backed her up :D
And also, the "This, before" makes me think she wanted to say that yes, she remembers that, but that was THEN - what about Julie NOW?
I really am fascinated with your channel. Love how Otter is picking it up and recognizing himself. Bunny is such a sweet girl. Amazing that they ask to play with friends and you are so great to accommodate their wishes.
She was stalking you 😂! I felt like my dog would tease me and I would tease him, and when I realized he was teasing me I'd laugh and he'd laugh too. I love that she said "yes" she was being silly. Adorable Bunny.
Otter may be all boy and bratty at times, but he loves his sister. Peace. 💖💖💖
Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today? And how is the family and the weather over there???
Great stuff. Luckiest dogs in the world who can be so specific about what they want or what bothers them.
"Couch"

DID YOUR DOG JUST WANT TO CLARIFY THIS HAPPENED EARLIER 🥺🥺🥺
Your dog is incredible and YOU are an AMAZING pet haver. 😍😍😍
Bunny's grasp of causality is really impressive.
Your dogs are fascinating. 🤩
"Why Bunny dog?"

*PARK MORE PARK OUTSIDE!*
... And I think Bunny dislikes being washed, so maybe she dislikes the couch being washed too. Being washed makes her "MAD. NOW I. MAD"
Otter helping her sister convince mom.
Oh no they’re unionizing
This is exceptional.
Id love to see this with our Malamutes
Do you think bunny felt gurgles and thought she needed to poo outside, breath cool calming air, or eat grass? And maybe otter could smell or intuit that?
I have watched this channel for a while and I feel I know wonderful Bunny, and love her so much! Otter is also so cute and clever, and I am more and more impressed with him. The way Alexis communicate with them is so perfect and kind, with a lot of patience. I have a feeling that is not so good, and that is that Bunny is concerned with the location of the house. Maybe because I myself would be. I live close to the sea myself, and the power of the wind and sea is so strong. Many a night have I woken up because of a dramatic dream caused by the sound of the wind and waves. I am guessing that Bunny`s stomach pain may have a connection to vibrations she feels through the floor and the sounds she hears from the waves.
Dogs communicate with each other without words. Bunny must think people are really stupid cause we need words.
They’re brilliant 🥰🥰
You want play tug?
Bunny: “Use your buttons, Mom!”
So you're being democratically outvoted by the dogs now?!
This is what happens when you have a second child . Whenever the other parent goes out you are outnumbered !lol!!
I wish dogs could laugh they give us SO MUCH JOY it's only fitting they should be able to laugh!! 😟
Have you never heard a dog laugh? It’s a breathy sound, no voice, almost like panting but very deliberate. I often hear it when I play with my lot.
@@debbiesmit5773yes! with the mouth a little open like a smile, showing their lower teeth and the tip of their tongue. The eyes are wide open and “sparkles” with joy.
Ah, I miss my sweet girl so much 😢
bunny & otter r nice smart dogys
Awww I just love this ❣️ Bunny so smart. N your patience wheww ❣️🙏❣️
This is like talking to toddlers, but with a better temperament 🥺
Bun & Otter conspiring is amazing! I am wondering what your thoughts are about communicating about the mortality of themselves or the important people and animals in their life when the time comes ro face that inevitability.
I think you were talking over her, she looked confused. But she said park and Otter thought, yeah let's go to the parkl! So cute!!!
Wow! They have partnered up
Couch.
Couch
I love that wood stove
So, when Gershwin the Poodle was a youngun, he did the leg attack. Nice to know it wasn't just him playing dirty, lol!
Ngl I thought you were talking about dyeing the couch haha
I thought Bunny wanted a couch outside. Like a tanning bed. I'm a little dissapointed.
They re so young lol
Does Bunny have a button for each body part? Paw hurt, tummy hurt, neck hurt, mouth hurt???
I loved when Otter took advantage of Bunny's Outside! He's really coming along. I am waiting not see them talk to each other. I think I saw one suggest Ball to the other, and I'm waiting for that to expand!
I think she has at least paw and belly.
She has at least the words Paw, Belly and Ear. She alerted owner to "ear ouch" and the vet found an ear infection. She repeatedly alerted to "belly ouch" and the vet found digestive problems for which she's now on medication. She alerted owner to "stranger ouch paw" and owner found a foreign object = "stranger", a sharp thorn in a matt between her toes.
I feel like Otter needs something to hold his buttons more securely because I keep seeing videos where he tries to talk and his buttons just unattach. He may be a little rough/less coordinated with it but maybe them accounting for that may help him feel more confident about using them/ them disattatching and not always making noise as a result could be a bit discouraging. I could be wrong entirely, just thoughts.
How do you decide the placement of the buttons? And, then teach them that specific position?
Otter seems to have picked up on the buttons really quickly. I'm sure it helps that his sister uses them all the time.
more park now xD
Maybe Otter knew that she needed to go outside, to the bathroom because her belly was upset?
Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today? And how is the family and the weather over there???
Park,, want MORE and in case You forgot it's outside......8f my dogs started doing that it would be scary. . I'd think they were possessed
I'm here because of vlog from jumper jump lol
Otter left-handed?
Bunny right-handed?
Couch and Ouch might be confusing
“bunny want ouch”
“what?”
It's not, they truly know the difference.
imagine if u gave bunny a computer. he could look through images..vids..sound/music.
Would saying "couch bath" help bunny understand that the couch is being washed?
My pup - who is very expressive and has a LOT to say, simply won't use the buttons. We've had them for almost a month. What am I doing wrong?
Sometimes it takes time. Hopefully you encouraged your dog and gave him more months to become interested in the buttons.
@@cacatr4495 Yes lots and lots of months - just not taking to them.
@@HillaryHarris
I've heard in talking-buttons pet videos that some dogs and cats just aren't interested in them. You might see this channel's videos of how they started it in recent months with the newest dog, Tenrec, the little papillon (spelling?) since now the owner knows far better how to begin it and teach it. Apparently, Tenrec sees the training as play, to which the owner said they must be doing something right. I'm sure it's worth checking out.
So, did they go park? Also, I’m sure someone has suggested this before, but a couple ‘swear words’ would tickle my pickle.
Haha, that's what I thought Bunny meant with "Mad other word"....
I wonder if she would've understood if you said you were giving the couch a "bath."
Good descriptive word!
I wonder if Bunny know shes famous
Im 👍🏻510!👍🏻😁❤️🦊
I love dogs. I wrote a little thing about the joy of dogs (you don't have to believe in God, it can be metaphorical):
For the love of dogs, God became playful. It was the proper thing to do: to give chase, play tug of war, and run with them in circles, looking almost foolish. Often the angels beheld God belly-laughing, stretched prostrate with a dog licking his ear. Thus God gave his reward to the hearts and souls of these perfect creatures who didn't have to love him, but who truly loved everybody -- and what began as mere play always ended in God's real joy, as miraculous as water turning to wine.
