    This might be the most high-tech futuristic motorcycle looking hi hat stand I’ve ever seen!! Great to see a hi hat stand matching for the FP9 pedal, and with exceptional features like the two independent spinning legs which I’ve never seen before on a hi hat stand. This is going to be a best of NAMM for sure!!

      Yamaha's drum hardware is actually made in the same factory that makes their motorcycles.

    I've always been a life long Tama hardware fan as they've never ever let me down ... I have a 2 leg Tama Speed Cobra 910 hi hat but this Yamaha stand looks absolutely awesome. I'm defo going to hunt one down and try it out. Who knows ... could be a game changer for me playing double kicks.

    Why does Yamaha insist on having the cymbal touching the bare metal of the hihat clutch and doesn't put a plastic sleeve instaed? It's not rocket science.
    In previous models there used to be a place to keep the drum key, I don't see it now.

    • @BeatMikTV
      @BeatMikTV 5 месяцев назад

      The clutch on the Tama IC Lever Glide has a plastic sleeve; I'm not sure it makes any difference but I do feel more comfortable knowing there isn't any metal-on-metal contact. I suspect it's trivial if the clutch is tightened up and the hats aren't grinding directly against metal threads though...@@mzmm4186

    • @YamahaDrumsEurope
      @YamahaDrumsEurope  2 месяца назад +1

      The HHS9D comes with two legs, which are separately adjustable. We have done evaluations with various artists like Steve Gadd, also regarding stability. This stand is "rock solid" with just two legs 🔥

      @@rippindrummer666 hahahaha Seriously? Get your calculator... if you pay 80% it's 20% off. $984 X .80 = $787.20. ORRR 20% of $196.80 = 196.80 SO $984.00 - $196.80 = $787.20 This is 3rd or 4th grade math. BUT YES! You are RIGHT that you can get it at Sweetwater for $570.00.

    Saved up to purchase a high end Yamaha set only to find out I can't lol order one. This has gone on for over 2 years now, "made in China" I guess. Yeah the ones made in Japan are available but i'm sincerely not interested in the Phoenix. All good went with an American Co that's been around 115 yrs, and beyond stoked! Love they're hardware tho, best in the biz, and lol ya can actually buy it/it's available. Peace
