- In AN EVENING OF CLASSIC BROADWAY, Chris Chatman and Louise Marie Cornillez sing “A Very Good Day”, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda for the revised version of the musical WORKING. It’s a poignant duet sung in the show by two caregivers.

This is my favorite song from such an underrated musical
Amazing job. I’m currently in a teen production of working as Rose and I love this song so so much. Our Theresa and Utkarsh couldn’t stop crying when we first rehearsed this song in January. We perform the show in April :)
So beautiful it made me cry!
A beautiful interpretation. I live in a city where these are among the most common jobs.
Such a sweet song! But I wish Louise Marie Cornillez's line was "While I do all the work her parents never do" instead of "all the work her mother doesn't do." Raising kids is the dad's job too!
But how would she do the father's work? She can only act as a mother because a mother is a woman. Hence she does the work her mother doesn’t do..
@@jarodhardcastle1350 she's acting as a nanny which takes up the job of either/both parents in taking care of the kid it makes more sense to say "her parents"
A bit late to the party but I think it’s the “mother doesn’t do” lyric because she is also a mother, and it is the kind of things she would like to be able to do for her own daughter.
More like a very good video haha gottim
