Damn homie. In Canada we call that a trail. But we have a moonroof heated and ventilated seats with a wireless charger and not just an orange pad without having to get an upgraded package.
brian, yes however with the hybrid powerplant it actually does 0-60 in about the same time, plus gets way better mileage. please consider subbing to our channel.
That adventure doesn’t have a sunroof but you can get it with a sunroof....I have the exact same car and mine has a sun/moon roof. Also, not all of them come with ventilated seats (that’s the weather option)...Good review man ✌🏽
The Adventure does not come standard with ventilated seats, heated wipers. This is part of the cold weather package which was added to this Rav4 at extra cost. it does come with heated seats as standard.
I have this exact car and really like it except for the fact that I get a clank/clank/clank as I’m coming to a stop (hear it around 18-20mph as the speedometer goes down) You only hear it when the windows are down and I was told by the dealership when I took it in that it’s normal (they say it’s the transfer case deactivating the dynamic torque vectoring. Annoying when you’re in a relatively quiet area as it literally sounds like something metallic is hitting the axle. But nothing I can do I guess. Other than that an awesome car. Great review 😃(oh and you can get it with a sunroof....mine has one)
ABSV, thank you for watching! please consider subscribing and hitting the notification bell :). That is the first time I have heard that specific issue from the rav4. How many miles do you have on your rav4?
GReviewz I’ll definitely subscribe. It’s at 9500 miles and the main reason I’m concerned is if there is an issue that crops up once the warranty runs out that stems from this noise we won’t be covered. And Toyota is aware of the noise and is saying in a tech tip that it’s normal to the operation of the torque vectoring system, which I don’t agree with because I don’t think the noise has always been there. So that’s why I’m asking other people who test drive the RAV or own one if theirs have the noise.
ABSV, understood; the best recommendation I can make is head over to carcomplaints.com . When I want to do research on issues with cars, that's where I head first. I hope Toyota helps you with your issue, doesnt sound like typical toyota quality.
Great video! Could you help me with this, please: The power liftgate comes with the sunroof in the convenience package. How come this one has a power liftgate without a sunroof? I have been searching in the market and finding you either have them both or none. Thanks!
@@GReviewz Thanks for replying. Yes. I am talking about the adventure trim. It either has a power liftgate along with sunroof or none of them, as their standard adventure convenience package.
@@GReviewz Is it possible that the dealer gave you a 2019 one to review? If you check usnews, 2020 combined the two as a package, but 2019 has the gate as standard and roof as optional. The hood has no blanket could be a tell.
the hybrid is a great option. though you have to consider whether you want an automatic transmission or a cvt(hybrid). the old v6 engine was pretty noisy in the old model, the new one isnt bad at all. Have you test driven the new model?
Yes we drove it but just around the block. We’re still looking and might check out the Escape tomorrow. I thought the CVT tranny would be nice but others say it gives a rubber band feel. We’re coming from a 2015 Highlander.
Benjamin, the upper trim levels: ie the xle, adventure, xse, and limited all have upgraded sound deadening material. The lower models do not have any additional material. thanks for watching.
My brother chad with greviewz owns a 4Runner. He had a airbag recall done and got a rav 4 xle for a loaner vehicle. Same engine as this adventure. He told me it was peppy and the transmission shifted smoothly and quickly. It even broke the tires loose. Sorry we haven’t to this point did test drives in our reviews. Liability is pretty high on test drives. We don’t want to mess up any relationships with dealers letting us do reviews on their vehicles. The best thing to do is test drive the vehicle you want to buy. Test driving a vehicle is very subjective. I could say the vehicle is very smooth in a review and when you test drive it yourself you could be like this vehicle rides rough.
Lucky you, the two vehicles are for two very different sets of buyers. 4runners are for people who still want body on frame toughness, good offroad capability, and a strong + reliable vehicle. The rav4 is typically for people who will rarely if ever go offroad, but in case they encounter a dirt road or snow want to be able to not stress about getting through it. They also value comfort and mpg, two things that a 4runner lacks. Please consider subbing to the channel.
@@GReviewz well if someone spends 40k$ for rav4 trd it means they will do some offroading, and why get rav4ytd when you can get 4ruuner trd offroad, plus rav4 will lose value faster then 4runner and 4runner is bigger can tow more and its proper truck, rav4 base model will do samethings what rav4 trd offers
Kendall, yes the 2020 models with the 8.0 inch touch screen come with android auto. Basically the upper trim models; xle, xse, adventure, trd pro, and limited. please consider subbing.
I got one and comes with premium audio 10 speakers and subwoofer also come with a panoramic roof and two tones seats!

Yeah, things can be a bit expensive here in the states if you want all the bells and whistles. Lol
I wish they still offered it with the v6

I like the one with white roofing
I just purchased this truck I love it... Very informative video
The adventure I got has a sun roof. I think some do some don’t

Yup. The convenience package comes with the sun roof and the automatic rear lift gate.

The hybrid is only $900 more, is that a better option? I heard the standard motor is loud and rough, but I have no personal experience with it.

Ok. It looked like, in your video, there was no hood blanket. Is the deadening material thought the vehicle? Thanks.
ben, yes according to my contact at toyota it is in the doors, firewall, and in back tailgate.
GReviewz that’s awesome. Thanks much!!
Yeah, I have a question... how does it drive? Please, if you’re going to review a vehicle, at least start the thing and take it for a drive.

I want the venture RAV4 with the sunroof
Mr get some, that is an option. Check it out at your local Toyota dealer.
I will thank you think that we will have v6
there are only 4 cylinder options for the 2020 rav4.
Why would u pay 40k$ for rav4? You can get 4runner trd offroad with that money

I agree with what you are saying, however there is a reason for Toyota to sell more rav4's than 4runners.
@@GReviewz reason is cheap, its more city suv, better mpg! Small, and more car like then truck like.but 40$k is wayyyy overpriced for any rav4.
