Hey mate. I run the TKI4 arms on my TKI2. Then I use the mp10 94 drive shafts. Been racing the car in the Uk for the past 5months and it’s been absolutely solid. mp9 tki4 parts all fit. Even mp10 parts fit. Cars haven’t changed much. I can’t remember when last I broke arms since running TKI4.
Never seen mud scrapers for preventing buildup inside the wheels. That's a nifty idea. Might need to rig some up on my Teknos, cause when my local track gets a bit heavy on the water, that clay likes to clump up in there like pottery.
The only thing that could be needed to be charged is the center front driveshafr the updated front a arms. Ive tested alot the newer arms with the extra webbing in the holes and you will not break an arm for a while!. if you want (for me is a must) front aluminum chubs . Ive been running my mp9tki3 until recently until i bought my mp10tki3 recently (build video and running on my channel) Best platforms ever! If i did not buy my mp10tki3 i would still race with my mp9tki3 Best cars ever made!
I have a MP9 TKI4 and put a new chassis plate on… still cheaper than buying a new nitro kit. I never broke a front arm and they are the hard once but my mp9 EVO has soft arm and broke several. Every time on one big jump and it was always the left side😅
Personally Id keep running it. I run mp10s, a few are really beat. I boil the arms to make them soft. Originally I broke a stack of arms, seems to be better since boiling them
I never had one beyond the 7. For some reason it seemed like the 7 was much more popular/common than the later versions. I just went to eBay right now and searched "ofna hyper buggy" There are 7 hyper 7s for sale right now. One 7.5(still a 7) and one hyper 8. I don't even think I've ever seen an 8 or 9 irl. That being said, I have read about them in magazines/online and there were some very nice upgrades made after the 7. I'm sure they are great buggies.
@@NitroTalkwithTodd I’m of the same opinion mate, I’ve had at least 5 of the hyper 7 an many upgrade parts for them many years ago, wanted to try an get one ☝️ again and I brought the 8.5 on eBay very cheap but in very good condition. The battery box was the first thing I noticed that was a big upgrade, all the other parts are just the same as a regular hyper 7 but I think they are just a little more well made , just my thoughts love the hyper range, I have had heaps of buggy’s over the years but do agree they are still one of the best 👍🤜🫡🙌💥🇦🇺 thanks for the feedback cheers appreciate you
Yes you should run whats the most controlled buggy you have. I run my mp9 tki4 more than my mp10 tki2, just bepends on track. High grip mp10 better, everything inbetween np9 tki4 all the way. I had mp9 tki3 but sold to frind to get into sport. He loves it
I've heard of that, Kyosho actually makes two different sets, one harder one softer. A buddy told me they were for running in different climates. Intuition would tell me that the softer would be better for bending without breaking. Those are what I have always bought. Maybe I should try a set of hard, I'm in Florida and they probably would be Kyosho recommended for hot weather.
I have a brand new mp9 tki2 I just put together. Had the kit sitting for years. It’s 2024 and it’s only now coming to life.
I got my arm in the mail, I'm getting ready to get her rtr again

Cool video I think it's just a kyosho thing braking a arms😬 still perfect for what you use it for 👌
Great video . I still run my mp9 tki4 . I would say run it till the end of 2024 then retire it.
