    Ive used small orings behind those washers on the control arms the upper link ends tie rod ends ect. They act like rubber bushings eliminating slack helping to tighten up your front and rear end arms and links. It helped my truggy hold better straight line over rough terrain.

    Looking good 👍 . On the buggy . When rocking the tki2 body . That exhaust hanger that long will poke a hole through the body . I literally shortened mine last night ! Lol . But it’s not a big deal . The tki2 bodies are super tight. you did all the good tips . I highly recommend using a longer cap head screw at the rear chassis brace to upper diff/wing mount . Than add a 3mm locking nut to the end of it . Over time that screw will lose it’s ability to stay tight and the result will be excessive chassis flex . That chassis flex will cause the clutch bell to hit and rub the chassis under heavy landings . The kyoshos are great cars . They rip! And just so you know all these tips are for a indestructible kyosho ride . I got a couple of vids coming out soon on some other good tips as well . Anyways awesome vid ! I need a set of those kanai tools !

    Now you are talking. I have been heavily into tamiyas over the winter racing them
    Indoors ( 211xm 2wd and db01rr4wd) but once summer is here I’m getting the shepherd bull x8 rebuilt and the new piston and liner run in. I’m
    Thinking about an 8th E buggy too. Big floating jumps with buggy’s will always be where my real heart is.
    They look sick. Those engines are basically the same as my engine I think . Alpha club racer. Nice engine bit I wore the first piston and liner out in about 2 gallons or less. ( I wondered why it came with a spare in the box. Now I know. Run them rich and get them hot before any work.

    3:00 I found T-Works when searching for skid plates for my Tekno 2.0 buggies, and it was nice to find that they make a lot of cool stuff, like receiver battery plug holders, gold screw kits, exhaust mount backup clamps, etc., so I've bought a lot of stuff from them for great prices (especially their bearing kits). Unfortunately for the skid plates, the front plates always get folded (The part that wraps up around the nose gets bent back underneath. It's crazy lol). Maybe the shape of the Kyoshos or something will make it not happen like on both my Teknos, but if you end up looking for something else, I've had great luck with Sumo RC on ebay. He makes aluminum and steel skid plates. The steel ones are serious business and the price is real good too.

      @rcjerz 2 года назад

      Yea front (tworks ) plates were no good on hb. If your gonna do a front skid plate gotta be plastic

    • @cbh148
      @cbh148 2 года назад

      @@rcjerz Like I was saying, the Sumo RC steel skids are legit. They don’t wrap around the front so there’s nothing to fold, and unlike the T-Work’s plates (which were thin steel for mine, rather than aluminum that you mentioned), the Sumo steel plates are beefy - about 1.68mm thick.

    • @rcjerz
      @rcjerz 2 года назад

      @@cbh148 actually I think mine were steel front to. I edited it. Yea I bought the sumo steel skid plates a while ago for tekno but haven’t got to try them out yet.

    • @cbh148
      @cbh148 2 года назад

      @@rcjerz I bet you’ll like them. I only wish I had started with them on a brand new chassis rather than running other brands & no plate at all because the plates are fastened to already-worn surfaces, but NBD lol

    Yea those front skid plates Gonna prob bend back. Didn’t work on hb, they’ll bend back I tried during practice they were no good. Glad I didn’t use them during a race cause they will ruin a race. Rear tworkz skid plates are good though. 22 on a truggy that’s a lot of castor for a truck!

    I love my trackstar engine. I did change the cooling head to a NR cooling head I bought on Ebay. An Alpha head would also work.Did not like the stock head.
