Evening Richard, those calves were playing you, didn't want to go in the trailer then didn't want to come out, like petulant children lol Fantastic drone shots, was that cow going through an identity crisis, thinking it was actually a hamster lol Good luck with your TB testing That bull's a big lad, half expected the trailer to dip Keep up the great work both farming and educating us viewers 👏 Take care Geoff
@@GeoffreyMoore-i9k Geoff. Thanks again for your input. Yes all bonkers bovines are at home now🤣 we had lots of fun loading them. Limi bull has got to quite a size. I was not sure how RUclips viewers would like a slowed down video with more natural footage. I’m interested in your comments.
@@yorkshirefarmingI've tried 4 times to reply, each time my response has disappeared before I could send it lol Personally I like the honesty of your videos, you show it as it happens So slow pace of maintenance and moving cattle or fast paced calving and silage, it's what you are doing as a farm. So keep doing what you're doing for me Geoff
@@yorkshirefarmingI guess some day's it feels like a soap opera, especially when it's going wrong, but you don't have the luxury of a retake Whether it's a non farmer like me or another farmer watching, your discussion on the silage or your experience of having to install stainless steel around the robots, other may learn from you, or realise they're doing right or perhaps their way is better, but if we all just stick to how we've always done it, we have no scope to improve. So my honest answer is keep doing what you're doing, keeping it real, entertaining and educating. Do you think simon is warming to the idea of being on camera?? Excellent reversing skills by the way Take care Geoff
Hi Geoff, Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. It's true, sometimes things don't go as planned on the farm, and it definitely feels like a soap opera! But that's the reality of it, and I think people appreciate seeing the authentic ups and downs. You're absolutely right, sharing experiences - good and bad - is a great way for everyone to learn and improve. Whether it's about silage, robots, or anything else, there's always something new to discover and different ways of doing things. And about Simon... well, let's just say he's slowly getting used to the camera. 😉 He still prefers to be behind the scenes, but he's definitely making progress! Thanks again for the encouragement and for watching! Best, Richard
