I know so much is being said about this band’s turmoil these days, but the fact is they are selling out arenas right now. With that being said…..I can’t be the only one that finds it extremely disrespectful to Arnel the way they keep mentioning Steve Perry throughout the show?!?!!! The man has wanted nothing to do with your band for over 25 years now, show the people that do the respect.
It’s a co-headlining tour. They ain’t selling out arenas by themselves. No band that could sell out arenas by themselves does a co-headliner and loses half the money. They were playing large theaters last year. Not arenas. Few thousand vs twenty thousand.
@@thefonzkiss While I agree that there are prob a lot of people that are buying a ticket just to see Toto, this is not a co-healing tour. Look at the videos. Toto gets about 1/4 of the stage, and they are clearly listed in all advertising as a Special Guest. Arena tours do not get very personal , it's a business, but I'm sure that in addition to being the perfect pairing for this tour, Jonathan Cain and Steve Lukather's friendship might have had a role. Their children recently got married to each other and they have both shared on social media how that spend a lot of time together as a family.
Search on YT for Voyage. They sound more like Journey than this Journey. Get rid of Cain, bring back Rollie and let Deen sing. That is worth paying for.
Their mix at Rupp was a mess...couldn't hear Schon very well through Jensen's muddled bass! Toto was by far the best sounding and performing band of the night.
Maybe the voice of the one taking the video who also sing while AP is singing s the one you hear. Arnel is amzing and sing like Steven Perry. Amazing voice.
Without Steve Perry there is no journey. Seen them years ago when Steve was Journey. I would not pay to see this show. Sounds terrible. Sorry but not sorry. You tube the journey from the-later 70's ,& 80's. No one can up Steve's vocals.
