I woke up Easter Morning and on utube some one put a like on my comment. I want to thank you my friend. Jesus has risen all the glory to God. Bless you my Friend together we can move mountains in Jesus name amen thank you once again Chrissy what a wonderful job on a wonderful song
The thing this world lacks is COURAGE. No one no one comes close to Bobs courageous courage. You gotta understand the man went thru hell. He outlines this in this song. Thankyou too chrissi for your courage.
CG ClY love her even !ore now. Another artist would of butchered it but she gave it a live performance that boib never sang live. goddamn it rocks and extra cool credit for the brief harp solo. rim using my wife's iPad.
I believe it’s Albert Grossman, Bob Dylan’s notorious manager from the early days, who had died of a heart attack about 2 weeks before at age 58. While I can see them certainly mentioning him at that time before they played a Dylan song, I haven’t seen anything online to suggest he was a Christian. His name is Jewish, but of course so is Bob’s (Zimmerman). So while it’s possible they may have been dedicating this specific song in his memory, if I had to guess they probably just mentioned him because of the Dylan connection and his recent passing, rather than anything about Grossman being a Christian (“property of Jesus”). But I’d love to hear from anyone who has additional information.
I JUST GOT KNOCKED OFF MY HIGH HORSE ON THE THE WAY TO MEET THE CHAIN GANG BY A BRIGHT LIGHT THAT SPOKE I WAS DRIVING WHILE BLIND. LETTING JESUS DRIVE MY CAR HES GOT A WHEEL INSIDE A WHEEL FULL OF EYES HE IS RISEN
Hmm..I can't figure why she decided to cover this song, but she sounds as great as ever! Is there a studio version? I put this original in my playlist. Thanks for the upload!

Respect. Singing a Dylan “Christian song” when it probably wasn’t popular to do so.
Like Bob, Chrissie’s her own person.

trfesok Because the original is fucking great. That would be the reason.
@@davidleewrath6919 The lyrics don't seem like something she could relate to, I suppose..
@@trfesok because Bob Dylan rocks, that is why
@@trfesok not really. Recently she wrote a tribute to conservative radio pundit Rush Limbaugh, telling how much her father likes him
@@trfesok But the lyrics are so punk. About not letting people be what they want just because it makes one uncomfortable
Assail him to the bone, you got something better-you got a heart of stone
"Resent him to the bone" is correct .. two years later.
