We were in Miami and the Miami Beach area a few days ago...really enjoyed ourselves. Now, in Fort Lauderdale for a week with splendid weather and excellent restaurants. Thanks for sharing your personal adventures with us all.
Hi Robert, I'm moving to Miami Brickell. The culture and energy is over the top amazing. My son just moved there last month. The lifestyle is incredible. The metro is pretty cool too. Love your vids.
My family and I used to visit Miami alot when I was a kind in the early 70's, we had family there. But one summer we went for my Dad's work and stayed at the San Souci (?). I had a ball between the pool and the beach. Although its no longer there, I wanted to explore Miami Beach this past April but weren't able due to time. I enjoy the videos and safe travels to you guys!
Robert, as always a grand tour of places you can only dream of. I personally appreciate you delivery of all the points of interest in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the entire world, not just USA.
This was one of your funnest videos! I’ve only been to Miami for our honeymoon to get on a Cruise, to go to the Bahamas back in 1987. I really need to make a visit there and bring my art supplies to paint pictures of scenery. So much to see. May need to stay down in that area you walked near the water. Just came off the Norwegian Joy two weeks ago coming out right there. Do it Robert. We have been on 3 the past ten years. 2 NCL and 1 RC. RC is more formal and more finer dining but the NCL has just as good food and is more free flowing. No suits and dresses required. More our style as campers!!!! But both a great experience. Get the balcony cabin always and sleep with the door open. It rocks you to sleep and the sound of waves. Heaven.

Robert - This video brings back memories. Exactly 6 years ago this week, I was in South Beach on vacation. I'm glad Mango's is still around. They had great bands performing. Drinks were a little expensive, but at least they didn't charge a cover to get in.

That empty shopping section at tge end of ocean used to have a fun bar called Tequila Chicas. It was very fun with a great view looking down ocean drive.

Robert please go to the beach during spring break and report on the thugs and a-holes stay away advertising is it working. Back in the 1980s Ft Lauderdale had to do the same thing and it worked to improve on cutting down the B.S. problems. South Florida is one great winter playground thanks for sharing
I loved watching the cruise ships at the end, thank you for sharing. Since it has been 20 years since you have been on a cruise Robert, I would recommend you do not cruise Carnival, they are the party ship and like you said routy. I personally love Celebrity and Norwegian. . .but be sure to pick a newer ship, pay attention to when it was built and if it is older, check to see when it was last refurbished. But definitely I recommend you pick a new ship :o)
You are one lucky fellow to live in Miami. I’m sure it’s a bit more laid back in the area where you live. I’ve only been to Miami once over 50 yrs ago…definitely would like to go back. Not sure I could stand on my feet all day, though. 😆
Visit Florida in the winter months? No I think there’s a lot of things you missed in the summer months it may be hot but you get up extra early to enjoy everything! Missing The Florida Springs it’s so cold in the Florida Springs and you’re up north in oblivion missing it will keep it to ourselves we’re not gonna tell you what you’re missing
$10 for 50 cents worth of ice cream ??? Aint no ice cream , Gelato , what have you, on the face of the planet that good....Price gauging is something that makes me avoid an area like the plague....Would hope this is an isolated example of the area cause if it aint, you wont ever see me there...Guess that makes me a tightwad i dont know but silly me, i actually enjoy getting a little bit of value for the money i spend rather than feel like a got played in a tourist trap....
