I watch this with my daughter and we realized Prince sorta says “hi” to all of us towards the end! When he is doing the splits, he looks right at the camera, towards us and smiles :)

Yo the breakdown is CRAZY emotional in this song. The sudden pause, the somber look at Prince, the bass drum suddenly being clear and crisp where it was drowned out by the crowd a bit before accompanied by the light guitar solo (two harmoneous notes - a duet.) Gorgeous, subtle, complex - much like Prince.
