In this video I show you how to repair a cracked screen by putting it in a special freezer. What this freezer does, it freezes the glue which the glass comes off the phone from the glue becoming not sticky temporarily. I then clean off all the glue with a tool and then re-glue a new glass right back onto the screen using Loca Glue.

Great all I need is an industrial freezer advanced heat gun and several other professional tools
I been repairing my phones since high school that was 6 years ago. Repaired some phones for my friends and family but it wasn’t until 4 or 5 months ago that I saw your videos and you motivated me to at least start doing it on the weekends.
Good to hear that. Where are you repairing the phones at? Where are you meeting people at?
My friend has her clothing boutique and she lets me repair the phones there on the weekends
@@sekcninjafb I started out first in my Apt rec room, then I was doing it in the coffee shop for about a year until I got my own shop. Good thing about iPhones is that you can knock them out between 10-20min. Charging ports take a little longer but the more phones you learn, the more money you can make.
Wowww... the most easily way and best video that i see in all my life about repairing a phone, exactly a glass protect phone! This is the best! 🤩🤩
Thank you!
Im on like my 3rd video tonight your videos are great. Bro keep it up
👍
Nice videos , i just started a computer repair and cellphones repair shop in Pennsylvania,i want buy the freezer make job more easy and fast , i use a wire at the moment , thanks for motivated people like me for open own business and learn more from your videos
Thanks for sharing. What were you doing before computer and cell phone repair?

I've figured out how to not get glue in the camera glass. Blue-tack :) Also figuredf out how to remove loca glue with no heat at all, meaning no waves. I owe you massively for the inspiration dude! When I'm making bank (very soon) I'll be buying your courses for all phones! Legend man!
👍
Same dude, good on you for figuring that out. I pretty much understood each step but couldn't figure out the camra glue trick, I thought he must hv taped it but it needs to be precise taping. Bluetack didnt come to mind. Also, this dude is amazing
May i ask how do you remove Loca glue without heat ?
amazing.....
I love it.....he has the app for El Pollo Loco!!!!
dang.. where did you get this idea man? THIS IS SO COOL!!!!
and that glue cleaning tool, blew my mind!
Thank you for the video, im pretty sure i will be using this method in my repair shop soon. What about iPhone X and 11 screens, i dont see that you have any video about glass only replacement for them? Can you use same method?
The iPhones use the hot plate and wire method. I outsource all my iPhone refurbishing. But I do the Samsung models myself.
Im asking if i dobt have that machine like you. It ok if i buy a dry ice then i put in a close container then i put my cp to get my crackglass only in my s7 edge.this is frank in the Philippines
Hello! What temperature do you use during the process?
Do you always get the right ammount of glue on the oled? I struggle getting the exact ammount on the OLED, so the glass has no gap between glass and frame...like factory made. Otherwise easy method ;)
Hi, Great video. Can I use a normal domestic freezer for this or do you have a specific freezer? Thanks, Phil
Home freezer not cold enough.
LCD Freezer Separator OLED Repair Mobile Phone LCD Repair Machine For Samsung Edge Curved iPhone Glass Separating -185 Degree...minus 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
As far as the tools, the freezer, molds to hold the phone, vacuum, are these available like from Anazon, do you have a list with sources and tools you use for your business? Great vids man...
All that stuff is in my course.
can i use freezer refrigirator ?
Hey. Since I don't have that sort of freezer I've been thinking about an alternative. And I came up with the idea of soaking the phone in liquid nitrogen. It will freeze it just like the freezer and the moisture and all that will evaporate in contact to normal air. It should work, right?
Liquid Nitrogen does work. I use the freezer though.
@@RichardMeza thank you!
it works but be very very careful , use safety equipment like eye gear and big ass gloves and removes all the components like motherboard battery and all the shabangs
I have access to dry ice (-78 degrees C) where I work. Do you think submerging my phone in the ice pellets for 8-10 minutes would do the trick?
most probably yes but make sure all the internals like mother board, battery charging ports, vibration motor, speaker andf the front cameras are off the phone frame. i dont see why not. The only thing I can't wrap my head around is how tf he managed to not glue the front camera holes. I know it will be something easy, but Im guessing the top and bottom adhesive stripes he used has something to do with it.
the blue light is really necessery ? ty
yes, its UV light dries up the glue quickly before any sort of bubble start to appear
I guess this is good for business owners or people with lots of money. I was hoping for a home repair. Still, great video. Wouldn't mind doing something like this in the future.
Do you happen to have any video for home repair? Or does it really require very special tools?
A good home repair video is my newest video right here. The S9 and S8 phones are done exactly the same way when you replace the full display and glass screen together. ruclips.net/video/qZI5mUIggTw/видео.html
What is the temperature of the freezer in celceus?
-145 degrees Celsius
Can you switch screen with another s8. I have two but one doesn't work and the other does. the screen is cracked and turned black. I wanna know if I can switch screens to the working s8
Yes. All you have to do is swap the motherboard between the 2 phones.
Can I put this in a normal freezer?
"Pollo Loco!" Nice!
My question is; have you ever broken a customer's phone and if so how did you handle that situation?
Too long of an answer.
@@RichardMeza Fair enough! Thanks for taking time to reply.
@@RichardMeza How about the cliff notes version?
What loca glue should I use for Samsung galaxy Note 8
I dont recommend LOCA glue for Samsung Note 8 phones. I recommend OCA glue sheets.
Could a regular home freezer work if I use longer time???
The home freezer doesnt get cold enough. Freezer I use in the video is negative -145 degrees
@@RichardMeza Had really hoped to do this on my own
Given the fact that no one has this sort of freezer aroun
@@vmzee its linked in the description if you want to check it out.
@@RichardMeza is it possible to use dry ice? It is -80°c
@@MrAmanW dry ice doesnt work with Samsung Amoled screens. Not cold enough.
Why do you need to take off the back? Can you not just remove the front glass if the crack is on the front? thx
The insides of the phone will be frozen. Cameras will crack. Only the screen is put in the freezer. The insides are completely taken out.
Cool. Is LOCA and OCA also called UV glues?
Thank you.
God bless, Rev. 21:4
So how would you repair the dent on that screen you told the customer about
You just leave it there. Cant do anything about a dead pixel. Customer didnt care, they just wanted the phone to not have broken glass anymore.
you cant, unless you are changing the whole screen with frame, but that costs way more for both parties.
My screen went black during a outer glass replacement and it wont come back on, do you have any idea what i could have done wrong that might have caused this?
Damaged display? Replace it with the full display and glass.
@@RichardMeza it doesnt look damaged at all but that could easly be the case. Thanx for the quick reply i will be looking in to that course.
Hi sir can you pls make a video of a note 8 Digitizer original pls
same steps my man
Is there somthing similar for the s10?
Yes. Same thing works on S10.
@@RichardMeza do u have a link for a good glass? And My front camera cracked with the screen, if I replaced the screen, will the camera still have the crack?
@@RichardMeza and do u have twitter or smth I can contact and send u a pic of the issue
Is it absolutely necessary to take off the back and everything before putting it in the freezer?
Yes.
yes, chemicals doesn't react good if temperature is too hot or cold. thats why battery explode in heat. Also, Too much cold could shrink components. So its way way safer to take everything out both for the phone and for yourself
:) hope that answers
I’m starting to fix phones. My Facebook page is B&A cell repair. Thanks for posting your videos. I’m thinking on buying that freezer but I’m afraid to fail. I’m trying to find a company that can refurbish galaxy screens so I can begin doing galaxy phones. I’m making from $200 to $500 every weekend from just iPhone repairs. I do the back glass for $130 takes me 30 minutes but I have to buy the back housing which is $60 for iPhone X
They have lazer machines that make it easy to take the back glass off. So you dont have to change the housing or even open the phone at all. You just lay the phone upside down and the laser zaps the back glass glue. I am most likely going to buy one soon. A Liquid nitrogen setup also works for samsung glass only repair although I have personally never used it. I have alot of information in my course on all the back end stuff other then repairing the phones like suppliers, refurbishing company, marketing. All that stuff is in there. But good thing you got started.
Richard Meza how much are you going to charge for back glass
@@sekcninjafb I think I good price is $100. The back glass is probably between $12-$15 bucks I'm guessing. I know the full housing is alot more but there is also way more work with that and more time consuming.
Takes me 20-35 minutes
Richard Meza and yeah it cost $60 for iPhone X.
Did you see the inside of the freezer lid. at 5:44 and 6:23 it says "Please tear off the film in 30 days after leave the factory" Maybe it freezes harder then.?!? LOL
I've had this freezer for 2 years now. It's still on there.
Please help me set my head phone up so I don't have to aging
Hi mate. Is this glue OK to complete the job 5ML TP-2500 UV LOCA Glue Adhesive for Cell Phone LCD Digitizer Screen Repair?
Thank you,
What would happen if you didn’t remove the back or battery?
Motherboard would freeze and cameras would break.
cold shrinks everything,
How cold is your freezer?
Negative -145 degrees. I have a new helpful video coming out in 90 min about this.
Can you set my head phone up

What type of freezer is that you're using? Does any freezer do? Probably sounds like a stupid question.
Its linked in the description
@@RichardMeza awesome thanks 👍🏼
Not a stupid question at all. This should have been mentioned in the video instead of us left wondering! If you have 2-3 thousand dollars, go ahead and purchase the required freezer
@@wefukthenwo gtfo man...what a hater
What I don't understand is why do you have to take the phone apart to take the screen off?
Cause the phones are made that way. The screen's connection is inside the phone connected to the motherboard. You can't simply pull up the screen from the front, otherwise the screen cables will rip off since they would still be connected inside the phone. Make sense?
Do you drive Bentley just by doing this freezing shit? :) The regular freezer should do it right?
I love that but I can’t afford a freezer....
Outsource it until you can do it in house.
sir i want to learn this,, plz give me tech...
Almost all of us can't! Other methods work fine. I wish I had a freezer so I could show off too!
Did anyone noticed the imperfection on the left side of the phone screen like i did well i dont repair phones but i can do oil changes on a car and breaks with break fluid thats my thing
If you go to the 2:19 mark in the video. I mention in the video before I start the repair and I also let the customer know that there was going to be a spot there. That spot was from the impact point when the customer damaged their phone. Customer didnt mind. Since the customer is saving $100 on the repair with glass only repair option, they were fine with it.
So, for a DIY repair, you'll need to fork out $2-3 thousand for the freezer? Okay!! No problem.
Hustle with the right tools or pay retail dude. Lol
Investment.
I have a frozen lcd seperator machine (Single phone only) for sale used only twice. I switched to a different route for work so It just sits unused. I'm located in Las Vegas. Paid $610 for it. Will sell it for $300
@@vgrepairs I will use the traditional heat gun method. Investing in this equipment would serve no purpose other than to empty my bank account. I don't want to hold you back as you sound very keen to own one. Tell us if you think the investment was worth it.
@@vgrepairs If all future phones require this easier method to remove the screens, sure I would consider it!
why dont you laminate the screen ?
It's faster to do it the way I do. I dont run into any issues. They both do the same thing in the end.
