ok so a tip, you dont need a freezer, pick up some dry ice at your local publix or other grocer. works just as good, and you can just let it evaporate when done. that way the glass comes off in one peice

    • @JerryMobilePL

That's a good price seeing as an S9 replacement is around $700, The Screen of the phone is by far the most expensive part, it's like replacing the engine in a car.
As for just replacing the front glass, most places won't do it, it's time consuming and risky, you could end up paying out $100 to find the screen itself is damaged and then you'll be paying out all over again.
Only choice is DIY or get someone you know to do it for you

I did this to mine, there was nothing wrong with the glass, it was just easier to do than remove a stupid glass screen protector, that ultimately would of ended up scratching the hell out of the glass trying to remove it.
Never use glass screen protectors, they only protect against scratches, plastic is a pliable material and offers more actual protection than glass

If I already tried to remove my glass with just a heat gun and my screen then went black, does it all need to be replaced or is it possible i lifted the glass assembly too much and disconnected it from the motherboard? Trying to see if I should just wait or try again.
