On the F-15C, those are conformal fuel tanks, they can't be jettisoned. It looks a bit weird on the F-15C though.
yep and i think it's useless to take theme if you gonna go with the low fuel/tank strat ^^

@@AlphaJulietBravo1 no it can not, its not a removable part of the aircraft, only variants of the strike eagle (the E) got it because its apart of the airframe, but what makes the strike eagle good, is the way more powerful engines which compensate for the changed airframe. the Charlie absolutely should not be getting CFTs. It never carried them, and is what makes the airframe of the strike eagle special. shame on gajin

@@Likeaworm at least they should’ve made it a modification instead of a loadout thing to simulate the fact that it’s NOT removable in the slightest.
The new tanks aren't drop tanks, they are called conformal fuel tanks (CFT) because they are molded to the body of the plane to reduce drag and stay attached to the aircraft even when empty. The F-16 Block 72 has them as well.
I could see Eurofighter and Rafale coming this december

Honestly germany needs it. No cas. I did some research the new f4f could carry guided bombs and mavericks. + they think a su27 is equal to a f4f with only .3 br difference with 2 missiles more better ir missiles better flight moddel and cause its ussr probably better fox 3

@@dinosaure_jr4595 Partly bro. eurofighter and rafale for example both have the Meteor Radar Homing Missile, which is stronger than amraam and r77, and every other radar missile up to nowadays. The thing is gripen can carry the meteor too, but they added one without meteors, so i wonder why they dont just add the rafale and eurofighter with balanced loadouts.. they could add the Meteor when its fair for the other countrys too, you know? So i guess they dont add it for balancing reasons and stuff
@@zSwax i think so too. they could just give them balanced missile armaments for now so they can add it already. the phantom with improved combat efficiency will be very strong on distances, but on close ranges its still a phantom after all, most other top tiers will be better in the other aspects. phantom still turns worse than most of the rest... but at least its an iconic fighter and overall still good.
So the UK Grippen gets AMRAAMS? But the Sweedes have to research, buy, and stock grind a 2nd Grippen to get AMRAAM?
Everybody's FOX 3 missiles : 80 km launch range. France : 50 km.....
MICA EM by Gaijin : 50 km range, 70s guidance time and 4.74 kg of explosives. MICA EM in reality : 80 km range and 12 kg of explosives.
Meanwhile in Russia, R77 : 80km range, 50g overload, 90s guidance time and 15.56 kg of explosives.
The unjustified hard nerf to only France is becoming really visible Gaijin.....
The conformal fuel tanks of the F-15 Eagle are meant for ferry flights. Secondarily, they could be used for very long range missions where dogfighting was considered likely. Thus, no need for them to be jettisonable.
What confuses me is the loadout choices on the vehicles.
For instance just using 3 vehicles, you have the F-15C which can and should be able to carry 8 AIM-120’s on all of its pylons, but it’s restricted to 4 and 4 sidewinders. No reason to not take 4 since you can’t choose the 120’s instead.
Then you have the SU-27SM which also should be able to carry 10 R-77’s, but of course we are clearly nerfing the planes so that they aren’t OP so the plane can only carry….6 R-77’s and 4 R-73’s OR 4, R77’s and SIX R-73’s. I know it’s not the best performing plane as far as it’s flying by that’s 2 extra missiles no matter what. Maybe if it was just R-73’s you could argue that’s balance, but it can carry 2 extra R-77’s which can make it REALLY dangerous. By the end of the match when you are out of missiles, this thing still has more options.
Then there’s the F-4 ICE. Not only did they give it 9L’s which are effectively useless at top tier now, they only allow it to have 4 AMRAAMS.
So compared to the F-15 that can carry 8 useful missiles. The SU-27 that can carry 10 useful missiles. The F-4 which has the worst flight performance, has 4 useful missiles. What the hell is this?!
It should be able to carry 8 AMRAAMS. Or if nothing else just give it 9M’s.
So I just don’t get it. They are clearly restricting vehicles. But doing it in a very odd way as they always have. Certain planes are nerfed for seemingly no reason.
The f4 ice is one I’ll skip for sure. Came a year or two too late
@@SnoW-pk9zo it would be fine if they let it carry its full compliment like I said. There’s no reason to restrict this vehicle to 4 AMRAAMs. Or to 9L’s for that matter
I can understand why Gaijin wouldn't give the F-4F ICE the IRIS-T. That would be completely busted even on a platform as bad as a Phantom. But where is the AIM-9L(i), at least?

Its a phantom it wouldn't be busted at tol tier at all the mig 29, mig 23 su27 f14 f16 f15 and Griffen all are better airframes and most have HMD so givinv the f4f ICE aim9m atleast instead of L would make it atleast have a fighting chance in too teir

We get new vehicles, major bug fixes, new sub par maps (imo) and thats cool and all but is limited to only that for the most part when it comes to major updates. New games modes,
And new objectives for air battles and ground battles, as well as naval would be nice. For example, Balance out naval so that battleships dont dominate as much and have a way to actually counter them without relying on BBs of our own. We have escort missions and objectives to destroy in enduring confrontation, so why not in AB/RB? Sure, battles dont last as long so make then on a smaller scale. Or perhaps in RB the objectives could change locations and be reset after X amount of time. I think in the past we had an "attack/defend" mode didnt we? Huge maps, multiple sets of objectives unlocked through capturing previous sets? That'd be some nice variety.
For me the only noteworthy things are the separate BRs, smaller teams for top tier and that you can shoot wheels off.
Very nice to see the updated tornado make it in, glad they know it even exists, irl its the Tornado F.3 Capability Sustainment Programme
I just want the FGR 4 added soon the tree needs it and should have it since stuff like the f15 and su 27 are in game the FGR 4 should of been added by now. Also FGR 4 is the British typhoon eurofighter

@@lukereyes6266 still all that British has now can't counter the other nations as is grippen isn't a answer either with it radar and skyflashes can only get a solid lock on at 63k ft where as the things it has to fight have passive radar and radars that can hard lock at 150k ft plus i mean i can solid lock at 150k ft in my tornado f3 with super temps but even then i can't fire till within 70k ft cause the super temps say it can travel 125k ft but they don't the go bout 85k ft and then explode. Only way i can counter us ussr stuff is to tree skim and radar slave my 9Ms to make them ignore the flares of the enemy and bring as many flares and chaff as possible
@@GWMsharpshot21 the f.3 is getting amraams and the gripes is getting something aswell. The tornado is gonna be a faster f4f ice, a missile bus that hangs in the back, that's the way they can counter the other nations. Especially if you're smart about going cold

British get 2 new things which is cool also the grippen got it's skyflashes removed and replaced with R darters i believe. It's not a FGR 4 aka typhoon but it will work for now idk why they are holding British back the tree has needed the FGR 4 for so long it's not even funny

It deserves 9M's but i will stay with the Mig-29G, just better as a figther and the R-27ER1 stills better than the aim120, the only diference is that you need constant radar lock but stills better

Or you can think of it this way, US planes were so advanced in '85 that they need to add '04 russian planes to be competitive against them.
I am predominantly USSR main and I see it this way and am jealous of what US will receive
@@emanueldjordje See you can say that but in what world (besides reality) is the top Abrams equal to the T80BVM? The ADATS to the Pansir? The HSTVL (And the poor Otomatic for that matter) to the 2s38? The A10 to the Su25? Russia gets stacked constantly and this is just fuel to the fire. Sure both the Su27 and F15 are having their AMRAAMs reduced, but the Su27 is coming out with two more than the F15.

They also gimped the entire point of that fighter. It’s supposed to be a MiG-21 that can carry R-77’s. Absolutely wasted the plane as a premium :/

Why does gripen not get its upgraded radar? It is installed on all gripen Cs. Hungarian gripens were sold after radar upgrades went into action so it should have longer range radar. It should have 160km range

There seems to be a lot of differences between the F 15 C and the Japanese F 15. The big thing I’ve noticed is the fuel tanks on the side of the jet intakes are missing on the Japanese model.
F4F ICE would be fine at 12.7 if it had the historically accurate ALR-67 V2 RWR, AIM120B, and AIM9L(i)

Cos they were developed as "fast" tanks for the C and D. The difference is that the fast tanks don't have the 6 bomb release units that the e model CFTs have
Just a little disappointed they didn't make one of the F-16's Dutch and the other Belgium, would've made more sense, as both countries have both jets. The Netherlands had a huge arsenal of F-16's!

this is just what happened irl, export customers upgraded their aircraft while the US stopped upgrading theirs after F-22 and F-35 went in service, the only ones still receiving upgrades in US service is the F-15 and F-18
@@shugie6350this is not how it works because the F16C block 50 in game is gimped to hell as far as its tech and missiles. It’s all arbitrary by gaijin. Even then there’s the F16C block 70 made by the US as well which would be better than every F16C ever built except the Export block 72 which is just the same plane with worse missiles usually.
When the US exported their aircraft they were almost always older than the ones in US service and the export countries didn’t get access to the best US missiles so they either had to use the ones they got or get better ones from somewhere else.
