This is a new version of the origami Devil Dragon with the improvements from de Dragon v3. It has a better structure compared to the original version, a longer neck and tail. The face, hands and wings are the same from version 1.

I recommend using a large sheet of paper (at least 30cm x 30cm), otherwise some of the details will be difficult to make. It's doable with standard origami paper, but I recommend higher quality papers like red tissue-foil for best results. The white side of the paper is visible at the snout and wings, so you might prefer using paper with color on both sides.

Just to put things into perspective, this man's started making vids in 2006, and he continues consistently now in 2021, thats a long time, maybe even longer then a lot of people using yt have even been alive. I am making this immediately! The wings seem a bit hard, but with experience from v1, it should be pretty fun and will make an awesome display piece along with the fiery dragon I folded!

It's hard enough to fold this, I can't imagine coming up with a design this advanced. (I know that much like folding, designing is a lot of practice, but still, it blows my mind that someone can make the designs for these.)

Hey Jo amazing I genuinely am not going to lie but for how good the dragon looks it’s probably one of the best origami dragon because of how simple ot is for something so detailed really nicely done i just had a question that i have made all the dragons on your channel,but all of them even with the exact paper measurement look good but the size of the dragon is a. Little smaller than yours why is that?

I love ur models they are so cool. o loved ur dragons the most though. But the devil dragons are way to hard for me. Like a year ago I used to be so bad at origami and never used to be able to make ur dragon. But now I can. Maybe after a year I can make more of ur harder models. :)

I MADE IT! It took me around two hours, but I finally made it! Altho my back hurts as hell since I've been slouching the whole time so i could reach the paper 💀

It's awesome and this devil dragon v3 is very very nice
I always struggle to get the very first couple of fold perfectly accurate.
I buy my paper from origami shop.
And it may only be the kami but whenever I see other people, they can always get the first diagonals or horizontals perfect.
Yet mine always seam to be a tiny amount off, which of course. The bigger the paper, the more noticeable and the starting folds are like the foundation of a house, so if you get them wrong, it spirals out and grows more and more inaccurate.
Any tips??
