@@mdutah-insearchofmormongold 🙏👍 as a coin collector, I enjoy looking at my coins, something that is hard to explain to someone who doesn't collect coins. I usually go through my collection once in a while when I need to get my mind off of something. So this is a huge help. Do you have all your coins displayed?
@@mk48sz33 I’m the same way. Part of the enjoyment of collecting is being able to display things instead of them sitting in a box or safe somewhere. I build a display every year highlighting the older coins I find while metal detecting. Anything silver, buffalo and older nickels, IHPs and an occasional wheatback if it’s a key date. I need to work on some new ones for tokens and military buttons.
@@mdutah-insearchofmormongold 100%. Only a coin collector would understand what you mean. 🙂 How long have you been metal detecting for? Where do you go for metal detecting?
I've bit off more than I can chew 😅 here is me thinking ill just bluetac the coins 😂 I'm gunna have to rethink everything now, thanks for the vid very helpful
Great video! I've really been enjoying your channel. Keep up the great work. Also, I couldn't help but notice that you have some trade tokens in your collection. Have you ever seen Robert (Bob) Campbell's book "Utah Trade Tokens"? It is the definitive guide for Utah tokens and is incredibly cool. I'm guessing you're already aware of it, but if you aren't I would highly recommend checking it out. It's about $100 but worth every penny. It really brings a whole new level of excitement to finding tokens. Happy hunting!
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback and suggestions. I’ve heard of that book so I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. I primarily use tokencatalog.com as a resource. One of those tokens I found this year wasn’t even listed so it was cool to contribute to history.
That was super helpful...I've got boxes of stuff I want to display but haven't figured out how yet, thanks!! -Emma
Thanks, Emma. You’ll have to share some pics when you’re done.
Thank you for this video. I live in England and collect the special, commemorative 50p's, so I wanted to know how to display them. Thank you
Thanks! I’m glad to hear you found it useful. I hope your displays turn out well!
Great video. Thank you.
I have been looking for a way to display my coins..this is definitely the way to go.
I appreciate the feedback. Glad it was helpful!

@@mk48sz33 I’m in northern Utah and I’ve been detecting for nine years. It’s a fun hobby. I’m always amazed what comes out of the ground.
This is very neat. Money Hanging around. Merry Christmas .
Thanks! Makes me wonder what my kids will do with all of this someday lol
I do similar but I use double sided adhesive dots instead of super glue. This way I can reuse the coin capsules if I ever want to change a display.
Great suggestion, thanks!
I've seen many vids where they hot glue the coins (kills value). Why did I never think of gluing the capsules & preserving the coins!
I appreciate your comments. The idea evolved from precisely that. How can I display coins without damaging them?!
Perhaps it is suitable for displaying semiconductor chips that have had the outer shell removed
There are probably a lot of possibilities. I’ve actually used the capsules to display guitar picks as part of collection.
Love this. Thank You
Thanks!
That was very cool. Thank You for that. I am going to do that with some of my finds. Going over now to check out your other videos,,,,Don,,,
Thanks, I appreciate your comments. It really is a cool way to display your finds.
Heckamayeah ! Thanks for the great idea brother !
You bet!
Great video!!!

Thanks, I appreciate your comments. I hope you figure things out.
Thank you. I wanted to make a display shadow box for my coins.
Hope it works out. I put one together every year plus a few for relics.
What sources do you use to get approximate values of coins if any?
You can Google “value of (coin)” and several resources will pop up. Coinfinder and JM Bullion are good ones.
I’m trying to find a 2 sided display. It seems pointless to conceal half the coin for eternity
Let me know if you find something.
Awesome
Can you imagine putting your gold coins on the wall 😂☺️😂,,they would be on view for at least a day 🥴
No doubt (lol)! I’m still looking for my first one in the ground!
that thumbnail is the biggest lie ever, no woman has ever looked at a coin collection like that
Haha! So true!
😂
