Reggie Miller might be the most polarizing superstar in NBA history. There are a ton of people that think he is overrated. I am on the other end of the spectrum. I feel he's horribly underrated because people see the scoring average and don't understand that he played on teams with equal opportunity offenses but whenever they needed a bucket or somebody to take over he did, and he did it shooting jump shots. He was a bad man.
Normally its like Lebron, Kobe, or Jordan stans that say he's overrated. He was a key player in the 90s. He retired at the top of the 3 pointer list, and I think he was like top 15 scoring all time when he retired. You can be that bad and get those numbers. People just dick ride too much for their favorite players and have to degrade anyone that isn't that person.
