We came home from Father's Day dinner to a fire in the desert about 5 miles from our house.

The Triple T has been around since 1954 and was relocated to its current location in 1966 and founded by Ira and Sallie Morris in 1954. My dad stop there all the time to eat and shower and drove trucks for 54 years.

I had a CB in 1972. The language was so offensive as in vulgar that I gave it up. I’d appreciate your thoughts if the CB culture has changed from the obscene. I’d like to have one yet cell phones obviate the need for rescue as in the old days. What CB unit do you use ? Do you only use it to check in to the receiving or pick up point ? I follow you religiously. As I’ve stated before, my respect for truckers and their travails has earned my respect and my courtesy towards them based on your videos. I’ve always respected truckers yet you bring a face to the unsung soldiers of the road. I could not do you job . Thank you .

Come to Europe there are millions of cab overs. We get a few American trucks in the UK but the are mainly brought over by collectors for show trucks. Have even seen a few Diamond T s left over from the war.

I have a saying when I hook up the pickup truck to the trailer. If I only gave to get out and in less than three times to get it done, then thats a win! Oh, and also if I don't hit the bumper with the hitch, thats also a good thing. Or dent the license plate so, bad that I made to get a new one👍👍

I like the fact that you don't have to cut any grass. I live down here in Florida all my life I'm so sick of mowing grass.
Is west coast.. Are Gov or anybody warning people out there in CA, WA, NV, AZ saying worried bout brownouts or worse blackouts from huge overuse of a/c blowing up the electric grid ?
It's now 3 days ongoing just as bad here in Northeast .. over 95-98'F steady for 3+ days.
A/C running nonstop for Everybody.

I was surprised to see the TTT Truckstop are used to stop there when I was in my 20s I’m 67 and tired.

at least your daughter stayed in the same state when she left the nest. we kids went in 3 different directions and states. my sister went to Florida, my brother to Calif and me, i went around the world, for about 18 yrs. lol

God, the Triple T! I remember that place looking a tad sketchy back in 1985 when I was at the UofA. Haven’t been around the lower part of Tucson on the 10 in ages!

Dan... how is it now in AZ ? 6/26-6/28/21 west states all super super HOTT 115'F in Portland OR.. hotter than AZ.... must be bad for you too?
How u keep cool at yur ranchhome? Do u lot people have even A/C ? . window units or central AC ? Must be going nonstop for 6-7months day and nite out there in West and esp AZ.

It's not unusual for it get over 100F in the summer months in the western US.
When I was a student driver in 1997, my very first run got shut down due to an ice storm in Tucson. We spent 3 days at the Triple T, and now I stop whenever I can. Definitely one of my favorites.
