I love how it looks to have more space between the app icons since it's easier to read all the app names! Smart Lock is convenient at home and Show passwords is great for times when I'm typing a long password and forget the last letter I typed! Lastly, split screen is an amazing feature for tall phones. My 5.1 inch Galaxy S7 makes the experience impossible lol

It'll suit me fine for years.. a really good phone, i think most of the complaints of reviewers were made into bigger deals than they are because they needed things to be objective about.

How do you get the little square, circle and triangle at the bottom. I came from samsung phones and they always had them. I think that I could learn to love my phone, but I am lost. Mine is from Metro by T-mobile, and I am utterly lost. I can't get split screen or even go back a page on chrome usually. These would be very helpful, and I am not able to go to a store to get help without greatly imposing on others. I rely on my cell for my safety, and I could so use some help. I watch videos, try to learn but I don't even see those bottom line of options, which are in the video. The guy at the store didn't even know how to set the phone up. I had to do it all by hand, and obvs, I'm not tech savvy. Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Go to settings and find "buttons and gestures". You will see "navigation bar and gestures". From there select "back, home, recent". That should give you the three button navigation you're talking about. I hope this helps!

I wish we could change the app drawer layout without having to install a launcher from the play store. I like to swipe through my apps from side to side in the app drawer instead of scrolling through them up and down vertically.

I got this phone about a week ago the only thing I don't like is that the notification sounds are not working right and I don't know how to fix it I have apps that have there own sounds like cash app and on this phone it doesn't do any of them it's just the regular notification sound for everything I hate it does anyone know how to fix it ?
I called OnePlus customer service. They had me go to settings and type in "reset app preferences". Click on that and then restart my phone. It's working again the way it's suppose to. Also they said that it seems to be a glitch within the texting app itself. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Simultaneously press the power down and the power button three times and on the third time hold it until the phone starts up. 3. It will bring you to a menu. 4. Enter your pin you setup for the phone. It will decrypt. 5. Select your language. 6. Wipe Cache and Data " BE VERY CAREFUL HERE." 7. Select wipe cache and accept. 8. Select reboot. Keep your phone running smooth.
Greg, we don't give a damn anymore about smartphones with as*****s and creases on their screens. We're waiting for the LG Rollable model coming out in March. And later in the year another Rollable model made by TCL ( see the info from CES 2021 ).
This phone is crap. A waste of 300.00. I have had this phone for 4 hours and there is a t_mobile tower at the end of the street and still this drops calls and it has rebooted on me 3 times. Absolute crap.

Please be gentle with me I'm a senior, not tech savvy. But how do I add back button and the 3 buttons you have on your screen.
Go to settings
1- go to buttons and gestures .
2- go to navigation bar and gestures.
3- go to the option that says back home and recent.... this would give you the button option instead of the swipe back option.

No you don't you just have to call T-Mobile to have them transfer your sim card data. I didn't have to change my plan at all
