      If you have had surgery on your neck you need to be even more careful. In your case you sound really check with your doctor first. You don't want to irritate the surgery site.

      @@BodyFixExercises I understand, that sounds reasonable. I've had my 4,5,6 and 7th vertebra fused together. I still have tremendous pain that radiates down my mainly left arm but I do get some down the right.
      In the last few weeks the pain has shifted and runs right up the spine to the base of my skull. That's when I got this hammer vibrato. The muscles get so tender to touch I was using this to loosen them up.

    TY this video is great and hopefully, I can stop getting neck injections. My question is that, has to do with TMJ. Is there a way to use the Massage Gun (safely) on my jaw. Any thoughts, or idea how to proceed, with this?

      You can use the gun sideways (only), like in this video, on the masseter muscle (see my TMJ pain video first this muscle). But very carefully! Jaw is very easily irritated!!!

    • @BodyFixExercises
      @BodyFixExercises  Год назад +1

      Depends on how bad it is. As long as you didn't do it at the front of your neck you should be alright. Mostly it'll just inflame things and make them sore. A cold pack for 10 minutes should help.
      (If you have dizziness (or breathing difficulties if you did it at the front of the neck) get it checked out asap.)

    My husband has a constant headache since past few weeks. It might have started right after he used a flat headed powerful massage gun at the nape of his neck. His symptoms are - constant headache that starts right after waking up, throbbing headache when he walks or does some movements with his body, he has no issue with moving neck or head, but he just had headache during those movements, and lastly, this pain originates at the right side of the nape of his neck and then his entire head aches, not just one portion. he feels a little better when lying down.
    He has tried muscle relaxant and nerve relaxant pain killers based on doctors recommendations, and they sometimes work and sometimes don't.
    It's been 7 weeks but his headache just doesn't stop. What could it be?
