Their arrogance isn't wrongly placed or showed. Sets a standard of expectation for would be cooks wanting to become professional.

It's something thats NICE TO HAVE in our life...but if you can't get through life, can't be successful without it and can't learn without it....well my old pet rabbit seemed to get though life just like that too. I always get worried the food gets cold towards the end of the judge's tasting. Are they keeping it warm somehow?
In Australia they taste the food while they cook while it's still hot.
I watch a lot of competitive cooking shows and I’ve always wondered this. The food wouldn’t be nearly as good even if it was kept in a warmer. Makes me believe most of these cooking shows are probably scripted.
They probably use hot plates, that helps keep the food warm longer, or at least that's what i've heard
I remember seeing a video of Gordon Ramsay talking about Masterchef and how they judge the food. He said that the judges taste the food while it is being cooked because by the time it comes to judging, most of the food is cold. The judges will taste one dish then discuss it and give comments/advice to the competitor and then discuss the dish with each other and they do this for every single dish so by the time they get to the last dishes they would be cold. I'll try to find that video and post a link.
Probably warm plates, they help a lot. They can even re-heat clold food.
